All early live footage from their debut to 1974 is recorded in chronological order in the best existing quality. What's more, it comes with a slate of Japanese subtitles and explanations that follow the flow, making it a gem recommended even for beginners. Glenn Frey, who passed away suddenly in early 2016, met Don Henley, and after working in Linda Ronstadt's backing band, the group started as a band consisting of Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. His collaboration with Jackson Browne, "Take It Easy," became a hit in 1972, and in 1973, he released a concept album, "Rogue," with a Wild West motif. The following year, in 1974, Don Felder joined the group in an effort to strengthen the rock sound, and released his third album ``On the Border'', which released the single ``The Best of My Love''. ``Sujo'' became the No. 1 hit in the United States. This item is from that period, starting with a valuable professional shot live when he appeared at the rock event "POPGALA" in the Netherlands in March 1973, when he was recording the album "Rogue". In addition, the Who and the Faces also appeared at this event, and a documentary video excavated by a TV station was added as a bonus after this main part, and you can catch a glimpse of footage of those bands. The live show at that time started with an acoustic set, followed by an electric set in the second half, and on this day, they performed "How Long" by J.D. Souther, which would be released later when they reunited, on this stage. Check out what they are doing. And the TV live at the UK: BBC Theater in April 1973, which is a standard video, is also recorded in high quality. Bernie Leadon plays a banjo and plays a telecaster with a string bender, making it a rare live show from the period when there was a strong country flavor.Furthermore, at the end of this disc: 1, there is a little-known performance in Central Park, NY. A total of 116 minutes, including an outdoor live performance. Disc: 2 includes professional shots of "California Jam 1974," which became a hot topic when Purple and ELP appeared, and Jackson Browne also joined in the middle for four songs. After that, ABC-TV's special program ``Don Kirshner's Rock Concert,'' which featured guests such as Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt, which was a staple of the 1974 live show, was broadcast on VH-TV, which has been re-aired in recent years. Recorded in official quality in 1 broadcast version. This was Don Felder's first TV live performance since he joined the band, and it was a total of 91 minutes, with a fusion of country taste and solid guitar sound, and plenty of live performances unique to this era.
