The Eagles are back with Glenn Frey's son Deacon and country music heavyweight Vince Gill. Here is the best live album from their latest tour, "EVENING WITH THE EAGLES". Glenn passed away in early 2016. At one point Don Henley announced the band's disbandment, but the situation changed little by little. After two years, they have finally made it to a US tour. Many of you may already know this from the news, but this is the first report of the sound. First, let's organize the events that happened in between. [2016] January 18: Glenn Frey dies February 15: 58th Grammy Awards [2017] July 15 + 29: THE CLASSC EAST & WEST September 30: THE CLASSIC NORTHWEST “EVENING WITH THE EAGLES” October 17-29: North America #1 (6 performances) [2018] March 12-July 28: North America #2 (39 performances) ←★here★ September 8-October 20: North America #3 (15 performances) The above is a brief history of the past two years. After the Grammy Awards appearance, Henry said, “There will be no more Eagles performances,” but later said, “If Deacon participates…” This became a reality, and they made a comeback to launch “THE CLASSC EAST & WEST” organized by their manager, Irving Azoff. Perhaps they got a good response there, but in the fall of 2017, they began a US tour. This work is a live album that reports on "EVENING WITH THE EAGLES". It is an audience recording of "March 19, 2018 Kansas City", the fifth performance of "North America #2". The sound is very neat and beautiful. It is not the type that you would mistake for a sound board, but its subtleties are clear to every corner. The venue sound is also absorbed, but it is transparent and does not hide or muddy the details. The Sprint Center, which became the scene, is a sports arena with a capacity of about 20,000 people, but the sound reaches you straight ahead, which is unbelievable for its size. On top of that, the enthusiasm at the scene is also wonderful. After each song, a huge cheer rises up, as if a huge mountain range is rising. Of course, it is huge because it is quiet during the performance, but there is also a definite joy of the audience. I witness and feel the revival that overcame the tragedy one by one. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful singing and performance, and synchronize with the joy. In fact, it is not a 100% document because the intervals between songs were slightly cut and released, but it is a live album where you can enjoy all the songs played. The show itself, depicted with such a sound, is the greatest attraction. The greatest hits were also a hot topic at the previous "THE CLASSC EAST & WEST", but there are plenty of more great songs to be heard at the start of this tour. In addition to "How Long", "Victim of Love", and "Walk Away", "Ol' '55" will be performed for the first time in 19 years, and Vince's solo "Next Big Thing". And of course, the attention is on Deacon Fry and Vince Gill. Some people on the Internet have said that this is the "best lineup ever", and it is true that the two of them have great chemistry with the Eagles. Although they give us a wonderful chorus from the beginning, what is even more interesting is the song they sing lead. Deacon has four songs, "Take It Easy," "How Long," "Peaceful Easy Feeling," and "Already Gone," while Vince has seven songs, "Take It to the Limit," "Tequila Sunrise," "Ol' '55," "Lyin' Eyes," "New Kid in Town," "Next Big Thing," and "Heartache Tonight." You can enjoy their singing voices with clear sound. The Eagles lost Glenn and chose to take off again. This is a superb live album that allows you to witness their "now." It is a work filled with more than just a collection of great songs. Live at Sprint Center, Kansas City, MO. USA 19th March 2018 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(66:45) 1. Seven Bridges Road 2. Take It Easy 3.
