Nagoya on the final day of the tour has long been famous as a surprising sound source that captured the Eagles' first performance in Japan on a sound board. There is even a legend that it was leaked thanks to a Showa-era rock kid who stole a cassette from the mixer desk at the end of the concert. After all, various items have been released because it is a mono PA out sound board, and nowadays, gray zone CDs are being produced by taking advantage of the fact that it is a sound source without official rights. Moreover, one of the attractions of this sound source is that it surprisingly captures the excitement of the audience despite being a PA sound board, given that the venue was small. In fact, the excitement was tremendous. However, while the sound quality was easy to hear thanks to this sound board, it was also quite rough. I think that was a regrettable point of this sound source. An overseas enthusiast who started there remastered it and released it on the Internet, and this version is the latest version. Indeed, the roughness that was in the past releases has been clearly reduced, making it easy to hear. It is clearly clearer, and there is no unnatural digital smell that is common in overseas enthusiast remasters. Even enthusiasts who are suspicious of "Oh, Nagoya in 1976 again?" will surely enjoy this. The great appeal of this soundboard is that it conveys the Eagles themselves enjoying the final day of the tour at a small venue with an audience of 1,500 people on the final day of the Japanese tour after the live performance at the Budokan. They had already gained enough popularity at this point, and arena-class venues had become the norm in the United States, so they must have been happy to return to a small venue. In particular, the direct PA soundboard captures Glenn Frey's fun. In addition to the size of the venue, the appeal of the Nagoya soundboard has not faded in that it captures their last idyllic period, when they evolve into a supergroup at once with the historic masterpiece "HOTEL CALIFORNIA" at the end of the year. For these reasons, Nagoya's soundboard has long been popular with enthusiasts, but the ease of listening this time is sure to bring unexpected surprises. It was really lucky that the soundboard from the Eagles' harmonious period was preserved (and leaked), but it was even luckier that it was on the last day of their first visit to Japan.
