After 45 years, "SOURCE 2" "ZOFINGEN 1971" (hereinafter referred to as 2CD), which suddenly appeared on Earth in 2016, is a musical heritage that will forever preserve such precious clear sound. This time, we will present you with a live album that is also important in the sense of "keeping a record". This work contains the same "June 5, 1971 Zofingen Performance (Switzerland)" as 2CD. While 2CD was the newly excavated "SOURCE 2", this work is the previously known "SOURCE 1". Although it was previously unearthed, this was also unearthed in 2010, and appeared all at once as the same recording collection as 1973's "YOU NEVER HEARD A WORD" (now "ZURICH 1973") and 1974's "REAL BLADE OF GRASS" (now "ZURICH 1974") (all Swiss performances). All of them were loved by enthusiasts around the world, but the 1971 Zofingen performance "SOURCE 1" in particular shocked with its wonderful sound despite the precious year of 1971. This work is such a "SOURCE This CD includes "1" from the original recording of "EL&P 1" and also corrects the incorrect track order according to the actual show. The sound is a truly wonderful vintage audience. Although it is a little distant and not as vivid as the newly excavated 2CD, it is exceptionally beautiful for the time. The details of the performance can be heard clearly and in detail, without distortion, cracking, or a single trace of noise. With such a sound, Keith Emerson, who continues to produce phrases with ferocious momentum, can be fully enjoyed without missing a single note, even down to the subtleties. EL&P in 1971 was an extremely rich and creative mass. Two great recordings that convey its true value were born on the same day, at the same venue. This work is not only a wonderful live album by EL&P, but also a living witness to the happy scene where the "goddess of recording" smiles. The even longer and more powerful "SOURCE Although this album's role has been fulfilled by the appearance of "2", this work itself is wonderful and extremely valuable. I hope that it will not be forgotten in the darkness of history, but will live on as a witness to "1971". Live at Mehrzweckhalle, Zofingen, Switzerland 5th June 1971 TRULY AMAZING SOUND (79:58) 1.
