DURAN DURAN has come back to Japan in the 35th anniversary year since their first visit to Japan. Here is their superb multi-camera pro shot. This work contains the performance "September 20, 2017: Nippon Budokan". Their first performance in Japan in nine years was only two performances at Nippon Budokan and Osaka Orix Theater, but Nippon Budokan was their first in 14 years. Such a monumental concert was recorded in a pro shot and broadcast on a certain satellite station in December. This work contains the latest broadcast, and the special collaboration with Nile Rodgers, who came to Japan with CHIC, is also a perfect video work. In fact, the quality of this work is super-excellent. The super-clear digital image quality unique to the latest broadcast and the perfectly mixed ironclad sound are natural, but what is particularly impressive is the camera work that makes use of countless cameras in all directions. This broadcast was not a live broadcast, but was broadcast about three months after the live performance. That's why each angle has been carefully considered and put together. Not only does it not miss the highlights, but it accurately reflects the special mood of the Budokan, and the cuts are exquisite, not just for each song, but even for each phrase. And the video processing, such as the exquisite blurring and fisheye lens... It is clear that every detail has been calculated, and everything can only be described as "official class". (Although there is no trace of the "other world" feeling of "UNSTAGED") It is a work-like visual beauty that is comparable even to the official video "A DIAMOND IN THE MIND: LIVE 2011". The quality depicted is a delicious show with plenty of repertoire that was not even seen in "A DIAMOND IN THE MIND: LIVE 2011". In addition to the new songs from the new album (though it's been a while since they were released), "PAPER GODS," they also play a wide range of songs, including their debut album "Girls On Film," "Hold Back The Rain" and "Save A Prayer" from the masterpiece album "RIO," and even "I Don't Want Your Love" and "Love Voodoo." "Love Voodoo" in particular is a rare song that has hardly been played since the 21st century. The biggest highlight of this album comes after the end of "Love Voodoo." Simon introduces Nile Rodgers, who was the opening act with CHIC, saying, "Our relationship has lasted 32 years" (you can enjoy the performance on the audience album "BUDOKAN 2017"). Now, just as they are about to perform together, Simon says, "Wait a minute. It was someone's birthday, right?" and sings a birthday song celebrating Nile's 65th birthday, involving the whole venue (his actual birthday was the day before, "September 19th"). They will then perform two songs, "Notorious" and "Pressure Off". This performance will not take place in Osaka, but only at the Nippon Budokan. You can also witness the precious performance and Nile's embarrassed expression at the birthday song in the super-premium professional shots. Moreover, in this broadcast, Simon's MC is subtitled in Japanese, and the mood is vividly conveyed. DURAN DURAN, who came to Japan for the first time in nine years and showed their current progress with six new songs, which is about half of "PAPER GODS". This is a super masterpiece that captures the memorable "Live at Budokan" with the ultimate superb professional shots, including rare numbers and performances with Nile. It is an official-class album, but it gives you more excitement than the official one. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 20th September 2017 1. Intro 2. Paper Gods 3. The Wild Boys 4.
