Tatoil has recorded the 2017 Japan Tour's September 11th Nippon Budokan performance in official quality and professional shot from the broadcast footage, for 2 hours and 29 minutes, on 2 DVDs. First of all, this visit to Japan is part of the 25th anniversary world tour of "IMAGES & WORDS", and the main focus is on a complete reproduction of the album, and the three-part live performance will be Part 1 "Normal Format", Part 2 "Complete Reproduction of IMAGES AND WORDS", and then the encore. The highlight of the live performance of "IMAGES & WORDS" is that it has Japanese subtitles from "Intro: Happy New Year 1992", "Another Day" features Rudess' solo, "Take The Time" features Petrucci's solo, "Metropolis Pt. 1" features Mangini's solo, and the keyboard intro of "Wait For Sleep" is also included. The encore performance of "A Change Of Seasons" is also a highlight. This song was written at the same time as "IMAGES & WORDS" and was the main song that was originally supposed to be included, so by playing them in succession, the complete form that it should have been is realized.
