THE DOOBIE BROTHERS released their first new album in 11 years, "LIBERTE," and started their 50th anniversary tour featuring Michael McDonald. Introducing the super best pro shot where you can witness the latest stage. This work includes three distributed programs. It is a 2-disc set with “iHeartRadio ICONS” recorded on “September 24, 2021 Burbank” on DISC 1, and “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” that appeared on “September 23” the day before on DISC 2. At one point, it was reported that McDonald was not feeling well and that a member had been infected with the new coronavirus, and it was announced that some dates would be postponed. I think some people were scared, but we have since reopened safely. Let's start with their current situation, including the circumstances around that. 2021・August 22nd-31st: North America #1 (6 performances)《September 2nd: Postponement of some dates announced》・September 14th + 15th: North America #2 (2 performances)・September 23rd: JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE appearance ←★This work DISC 1★・September 24th: iHeartRadio ICONS appearance ←★This work DISC 2★・September 27th + 29th: North America #3a (2 performances)《October 1st “LIBERTE” released》・October 1-29: North America #3b (14 performances) 2022・June 2-July 14: North America #4 (25 performances) This is the 2021 that has been announced so far Schedule for 2022/2022. MacDonald was absent from the Falcon Heights performance (August 31st), and the tour was temporarily suspended. However, it was restarted soon and is still ongoing. The two main programs of this work were recorded shortly after the restart. Both programs are of the highest quality and are completely official, as they are the latest distribution. Not to mention the image quality and sound quality, the lighting and camera work that can be controlled freely because it is an in-house studio live performance are more diverse than a normal stage concert. However, their personalities are a little different depending on the program. First, "iHeartRadio (DISC 1)" has an audience in the studio, but every few songs there is also an interview corner with the program host, who talks about the new album "LIBERTE" and the 50th anniversary tour. Although the heat of the performance and the mix are completely in concert mode, there is also a somewhat relaxed mood. The other “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (DISC 2)” focuses on performances without interviews, but this is a complete studio live without an audience. Only two songs, "Takin' It to the Streets" and "China Grove" were aired, but this work includes five unaired outtakes, and a solo appearance on another day (February 12). Also included is McDonald's "What A Fool Believes". Here, let's organize the song list of both programs together. 70's Classics (9 songs, 14 takes) Toulouse Street: Rockin' Down the Highway / Jesus Is Just Alright / Listen to the Music Captain and Me: Long Train Runnin' (★) / China Grove (★)・Doobie Heaven: Black Water (★) ・Doobie Street: Takin' It to the Streets (★) ・Minute by Minute (★) / What a Fool Believes Liberte (2 songs, 4 takes) Better Days (★) / Don't Ya Mess With Me (★)... and so on. All 11 songs listed above will be performed on “iHeartRadio (DISC 1),” and on “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (DISC 2),” you can watch the eight songs marked with a “★.” Anyway, you can witness THE DOOBIE BROTHERS celebrating their 50th anniversary at McDonald's. This is it. A 2-disc set where you can enjoy fully official multi-camera professional shots of them returning safely despite being briefly scared. A multi-camera pro shot that couples two distributed programs “September 24, 2021 iHeartRadio ICONS” + “September 23 JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE”. As it is the latest distribution, it is completely official and super high quality, and since it is an in-house studio live performance, the lighting and camera work are more diverse than usual stage concerts. They are in the middle of their 50th anniversary tour, which also welcomed Michael McDonald, and this is a 2-disc set where you can enjoy their latest stage performance, which includes the new song "LIBERTE", in completely official quality. iHeartRadio Theater LA, Burbank, CA, USA 24th September 2021 Jimmy Kimmel Live, Los Angeles, CA, USA 23rd September 2021 Disc 1 iHeartRadio Theater LA, Burbank, CA, USA 24th September 2021 (broadcast date: 1st October 2021) (63: 41) 1.
