Appearing on the scene in 1970, in addition to performing his own covers of white artists, he sang about issues faced by the black community, such as racism and poverty. Along with Stevie Wonder, he remained a charismatic New Soul artist even after his death. Coupled with valuable live sound sources and videos of the popular genius singer Donny Hathaway. First of all, the sound source includes a full-length version of 6 songs from the live performance at Carnegie Hall on June 30, 1973, which was included in the compilation album "THESE SONGS FOR YOU, LIVE!" released in 2004. 8-track has seen the light of day. Moreover, it is a perfect sound board sound source that has been leaked by the people involved in recent years, and the wonderful rhythm and speed of the last number "Ghetto" is a must-listen take that makes you wonder why it was not officially recorded. Usually, many people think of Hathaway's ``LIVE'', which is a masterpiece that represents his career, but this Carnegie Hall performance is even more said to be the live performance from when he was at his best. Being able to see the whole story in this full-length version is truly bliss. Furthermore, the video DVD is a blissful 35 minutes, collecting as much of the valuable live performance as possible in the best existing quality, professional shots. A must-see item for 70's soul fans. (CD) 1.Introduction 2. Flying Easy 3. Valdez In The Country 4. Someday We'll All Be Free 5. Band Introduction 6. Nu-Po 7. Love Love Love 8.
