From the "LAST IN LINE" tour, when DIO's popularity was at its peak, a must-listen title for fans appears again! The Leicester performance on October 2, 1984 from the UK tour, which is in the middle of the tour, is released as a high-quality audience sound source and almost complete recording. After the release of "LAST IN LINE", DIO went on a large-scale world tour, starting with an appearance at the "Pinkpop Festival" held in the Netherlands on June 11, 1984. The UK tour started with the Henry Victoria Hall performance on September 8th of the same year, and continued until October 6th with QUEENSRYCHE as the opening act, performing a total of 23 performances, and the amazing performance of DIO at his peak was overflowing in various places. They showed off their performance. The Leicester performance recorded in this work was at the end of the UK tour, and the band once again portrayed the magnificent DIO world in front of an audience of 2,600 people. The band's performance and motivation are at their peak just before the tour's highlight, the three consecutive London Hammersmith performances. This work is a recording of that famous performance by Mr. Crazy S., who uses the valuable audience master directly and has undergone thorough remastering. It boasts one of the most listenable sound sources! From the opening, where the audience's applause and cheers flood in like a tsunami, the clarity and spread of the sound are superb, and the listener's heart will be instantly transported to the venue 26 years ago. The sense of separation in the performance is so clear that there is nothing to complain about, and the sound where the high notes are sharp and the mid-bass resonates with a heavy thud is both easy to listen to and powerful, making it an enjoyable experience of DIO's live performances at the time. It should be said that the sound image is optimal for. The live is a classic set list starting with “Stand Up And Shout”. With the band's fulfilling performance backed by the motivation of being on the verge of breaking out, many fans are sure to clap their hands and rejoice, saying, "This is DIO's live!" DIO's official live performance "DIO AT DONINGTON" that was released the other day was also wonderful, but the sense of unity between the stage and the venue, the texture of the sound and the vivid sense of presence that made you feel as if Ronnie was right next to you. This is the real thrill of being able to enjoy high-quality audience recording. Anyone who hears the pyro roar in the second half of “Stand Up And Shout” will understand! The live performance is breathless from the first half, with “One Night In The City” where you can listen to Ronnie’s song carefully, and “Don’t Talk To Strangers” where Vivian Campbell’s machine gun guitar shows its true potential. Furthermore, the pop taste of "Mystery" unique to this period, and in contrast, the heavy and profound "Egypt", are packed with melodious songs with different approaches but all with a single core, and Ronnie's transformation. You can't help but take your hat off to his ability to be a storyteller. And from this “Egypt”, DIO’s specialty long medley begins. The moment “Holy Diver” starts from the coda of the same song with Vinny Appice’s attack gives me goosebumps! In addition, with his drum solo in between, “Heaven And Hell” is organically combined with “The Last In Line” and Vivian’s guitar solo to create an epic poem, and the excitement of the venue reaches its peak. At the end of the medley using “Heaven And Hell” last, you can clearly see that the audience is completely overwhelmed. This emotion and excitement will still knock out all listeners even after 26 years. (Although there is a cut at the beginning of "The Last In Line" that appears to be a tape change, it is not a major omission when listening to the performance.) DIO's catchy, yet heavy, and melodic. The combination of "Rainbow In The Dark", which seems to condense all of their strengths, and "Man On The Silver Mountain" and "Long Live Rock'N'Roll", the RAINBOW numbers that decorate the end of the show, was a big hit with British fans. It has gained a lot of support, and it's also fun to see the promise of stirring up the audience with "Starstruck," which is briefly inserted in the middle. (Don't miss listening to the MC in the song, "Dedicated to the great player Tommy Bolin.") From the dialogue between Ronnie and Vivian in the middle of "Long Live Rock 'N' Roll," you can tell that they are an excellent combination of musicians. You will feel the magic that chisel gives off. The encore was "We Rock," which brought the band and venue together, and the venue was shaking with excitement, ending the impressive live performance. This work is a high quality sound source that is comparable to the masterpiece "HEAVY LINE" (Shades). You can't talk about DIO's '84 tour without listening to this work. I don't even know how to describe how wonderful Ronnie's vocals can be heard at this show! Please fully enjoy DIO's hottest live show at the height of its power, lasting approximately 80 minutes, which is almost the limit of the CD's capacity. This is the true value of the 1984 DIO that boasted the strongest! If you weren't able to get it last time, don't miss this opportunity! !
