The legendary first professional shot from Japan is now available on DVD with the world's highest quality! This work is a professional shot of the performance in Japan that was held with Vivian Campbell, who only realized one performance. This is a high-quality version of the now-legendary official video "SUPER ROCK '85 IN JAPAN." Following the success of the previous year's "SUPER ROCK '84", "SUPER ROCK '85" was held in Odaiba. Ronnie James Dio had come to Japan with RAINBOW and BLACK SABBATH, but he did not have the opportunity to work with DIO, and it was his first visit to Japan two years after the band formed. The event was broadcast on TV at the time and was also released as the official video ``SUPER ROCK '85 IN JAPAN.'' However, after that, rumors of its recurrence came and went, and it was never released on DVD. Before I knew it, more than 30 years had passed. This work uses an original VHS in excellent condition that was owned by a domestic collector, and was consigned to a specialized overseas manufacturer and turned into a DVD. We have delivered many reprint series of Japanese laser discs, but this work has never been released on laser discs anywhere in the world, and the VHS of the time is the best. However, both the collector who provided the master VHS and the overseas manufacturer who digitized it are exactly the same as the laser disc reprint series. In fact, this VHS is a top quality product that has survived 30 years without any scratches or even rips. When it comes to transcribing videos, it is like fate that distortion is reflected at the edge of the screen, but this work does not even have that. This is a piece that pursues quality on an impossible level. Even more wonderful than the visual beauty is the sound. Of course, since it is an official recording, it is natural that it is a perfect sound board, but when it comes to video works, it is not uncommon for strange mixes and excessive effects processing. Even with DIO, in "Live'83 Rinne Tensei", only the bass was extremely loud and unnatural. However, this work is completely ideal. The reality of the live performance is wonderfully vivid, and the mix is ideal. Every single one of Vivian's picking is vivid, and it is so perfect that I would like to make it into a CD as it is. You can listen to “SACRED HEART” from the Vivian era with the sound so far… Of course, the awesomeness of such official sound is also 100% scooped from the master VHS. The appearance of 43-year-old Ronnie revived with such quality is exquisite. Fly from “King Of Rock And Roll”! The studio album also had a live performance, but a real live show is incomparably hotter!! This live was also the first day of the "SACRED HEART TOUR 1985-1986", so preparations were not yet complete. In ``Sacred Heart,'' you can also see Ronnie himself shouting the ``Dragon's Roar.'' Actually, Ronnie at this time had just had appendiceal surgery, but even looking at his vocals now, it's hard to believe that he was just recovering from an illness. The new song "Hungry For Heaven" suffers from trouble, but its recovery is also a highlight. During the first chorus, the guitar stops playing and Vivian withdraws. Meanwhile, the song progresses, and even when the guitar solo part comes, Viv does not return. So, Ronnie immediately sings an impromptu melody to connect the scene, and it seems to be working fine. He doesn't show the slightest sign of panic, and even a smile appears on his confident expression. If you look closely, you can see glimpses of Viv's return in the gaps between head-shaking actions, but that's natural. Again, this was the first day of the tour, and Ronnie himself had just had surgery. There have been many professional frontmen in the long history of rock music, but I don't remember anyone with such professionalism as strong as iron. And “DIO’s Viv”, which is only shown once in Japan, is also wonderful. Although he suffered from the trouble mentioned earlier, other than that he is in great condition. This tour is famous for "SACRED HEART "THE VIDEO", and the guitar player over there is Craig Goldie. Craig's smooth guitar is wonderful, but Viv's crisp and sharp guitar is the original. Viv's unique bluesy phrases in "Rock 'N' Roll Children" are also unique. Since Vivian's guitar plays the three masterpieces "HOLY DIVER", "THE LAST IN LINE" and "SACRED HEART", it is already the ultimate professional shot of golden age DIO. This work also includes a bonus version of the version that was broadcast on TV at the time. This also uses the air check tape recorded by Coremania, and the quality is the highest ever. Of course, the live performance itself is the same, but the camera angle and mix are different, and the sound of Claude Schnell's keyboard is much more forward. The caption that introduces the band, saying, ``It is said to be the last trump card of British hard,'' is also a masterpiece video full of sense of the times. Among the many video works, this is a summary of "original DIO" and the only live in Japan. Compared to "SACRED HEART "THE VIDEO"" which has been reprinted many times, this is a video that revives the unfortunate official video with the world's highest quality. A one-time only stage performance where Ronnie and Viv stood side by side in Japan. Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan 10th-11th August 1985 PRO-SHOT (59:29) 1. King Of Rock And Roll 2. Like The Beat Of A Heart 3.
