The 2024 Japan Tour, the first in five years, will have a total of six performances, including additional performances. The live performance at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall on May 9th, which was the second day of the tour and the second day of the three consecutive performances in Tokyo, was recorded in a complete stereo IEM matrix. First, the ear monitor source that Diana used on stage was stereo-mixed with a high-quality digital audience source in an exquisite combination, and the IEM matrix sound source faithfully reproduces the day's scene with a hybrid sound that conveys not only Diana's vocals but also the delicate ensamples by the trio to the fullest. And in this tour, Diana wanted people to enjoy the atmosphere of the session, so the first half was standard, the second half was mainly cover songs by legendary SSWs, and original songs were inserted in between, which was a common flow for all performances. However, the main point is that the songs are changed every day after the solo piano part in the middle. On the second day, the second song with a piano intro was "All Or Nothing At All" by Sinatra, and "The Girl In The Other Room" which they co-wrote after talking about their meeting with Costello. After that, Diana played the standard "Fly Me to the Moon" in the singing corner. The set for this corner was completely changed from the first day, and when they returned to the trio arrangement, they ended the main part with Tom Waits' "Jockey Full Of Bourbon", Buffalo Springfield's "Mr. Soul", Bowie's "Day In, Day Out" and the cheerful "Route 66". After that, the encore was Nat King Cole's "Let's Face The Music And Dance" as on the previous day, and Costello's "Almost Blue" ended. This is a memorial item limited to Japan that reproduces the blissful second day in the best quality.
