The 2024 Japan tour, the first in five years, will have a total of six performances, including additional performances. The live performance at Tokyo Dome City Hall on May 8th, which was the first day of the tour and the first day of the three consecutive performances in Tokyo, will be recorded in a complete stereo IEM matrix. In addition, the edition will include a DVD with the live footage from the first day. First, the IEM matrix sound source, which is a stereo mix of the ear monitor source that Diana used on stage and a high-quality digital audience source in an exquisite combination, faithfully reproduces the day's scene with a hybrid sound that conveys not only Diana's vocals but also the delicate ensemble by the trio to the fullest. And in this tour, Diana wanted people to enjoy the atmosphere of the session, so the first half was standard, the second half was mainly cover songs by legendary SSWs, and original songs were inserted in between, which was the common flow for all performances, but the main point is that the songs are changed every day after the solo piano part in the middle. On the first day, the second song with a piano intro was "All Or Nothing At All" known by Sinatra, and "The Girl In The Other Room" which was written by the two of them, who talked about their meeting with Costello, was wonderful. After that, Diana's singing corner invited requests from the audience and performed "Let's Fall In Love". The venue was further excited by Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You", the slow "S'wonderful", and "The Look Of Love", which is now one of Diana's signature songs and sung by Dusty Springfield. Then, returning to the trio formation, the main part ended with Tom Waits' "Jockey Full Of Bourbon" and "Take It With Me", Buffalo Springfield's "Mr. Soul", and Neil Young's "Bright Light Big City". After the main part ended, the encore ended with Dylan's "Queen Jane Approximately" and Nat King Cole's "Let's Face The Music And Dance". This is a Japan-only memorial item that reproduces the first day of such bliss with the best quality.
