Dexter Gordon, also known as Dale Turner, is the name of Dexter who starred in the movie ``Round Midnight.'' From his last performance in Japan in 1988, he performed at the Postal Savings Hall in Tokyo on September 13th. This was a performance live for the release of the movie, and many musicians also participated, so while he performed only three songs, ``Round Midnight,'' ``Blues Walk,'' and ``Society Red,'' he gave a realistic performance for his first starring role.
