After returning to the US from his European home in 1976, he continued to perform concerts and record live, and the following year, on September 25, 1977, a live performance at the Espace Cardin in Paris, France was recorded on a superb stereo soundboard recording. Unlike the regular members at the time, this performance featured Al Haig, the pianist who supported Charlie Parker, Pierre Michelot, a local bassist who was active as a member of Bud Powell and Jacques Loussier's trio, and Kenny Clarke, one of the pioneers of be-bop style drumming, and you can hear Dexter Gordon's dynamic and song-filled blow. You can enjoy Dexter Gordon's performance that can only be heard at a heated live performance with such wonderful trio members. 1. Sticky Wicket (12:37) 2. A la Modal (07:51) 3.
