"My heart is no longer with you" is a faithful reproduction of the phantom second album released on the master tape, released at the culmination of Derek and the Dominos' second album sessions.It took two months to get there. If you are a maniac, you will know that a studio session was being developed. The session was engineered by Andy Johns, who at the time was also working on albums by Led Zeppelin and the Stones. During the session, Johns continued to mix in stages over time, including mixing and completing the backing track, overdubbing based on it, and adding new songs and new takes. At Empress Valley, we obtained Johns' mixing masters at all stages of the process (the order of the songs is accurate), and in 1974, we also added the masters that Tom Dowd had remixed for release, and recorded the second album session. This work covers the whole story. Naturally, the sound quality is official level clear stereo line recording. Even though they were accumulating recordings, almost all of the songs were unfinished, so you can get a sense of the struggle of the two engineers who somehow managed to create the best mix for release in an unorganized situation. I understand. Of course, this includes three songs that Jim Gordon was trying to offer with his ego exposed. If you listen to this work, you will notice that there are too many differences in song quality between the songs, and the highlight of the result is Empress Valley's ``My heart is no longer with you'' (a one-off title released on 1 CD).
