An upgraded version of the Bournemouth performance on August 18, 1970, which is known as one of Derek & The Dominos' historical recordings, has appeared on the internet! We will provide this sound source as soon as possible. Traditionally, the sound source of this day has been known as the previously released version titled “Anyday”, but the sound quality was unbearable for general listeners and was judged to be quite poor even by enthusiasts. It has achieved a surprising upgrade, saying, “Is it really the sound source of this day?” The person who uploaded it online states that he received the Low Generation tape from a friend of the original recorder (this person also posted the recent "Marquee"). Therefore, it is of better quality than any master that has been distributed in the tape trade so far (as the person who uploaded it said so). The source is the same as the previously released version, but if you have the previously released version, you will be able to understand how much it has been upgraded once you listen to it. Even if you are listening to the sound source of this day for the first time, if you were able to appreciate the recent “Marquee”, you can listen to this version without any problems. At this Bournemouth performance, which happened one week after that "Marquee", the set included Lonesome And Long Way From Home and Let It Rain from Clapton's solo album. This was not played on "Marquee". Let It Rain is the earliest fresh performance that does not feature Jim Gordon's drum solo like later. We hope you will enjoy the upgraded version of these two precious songs, as well as the most spirit-filled performances from the time when Dominos were finally making their mark on the world.
