This work contains 10 years of professional shots from 2006 to 2015. Although it is a short broadcast that cannot be a single work, it compiles only the highest quality footage. It is a piece that you can enjoy 7 programs and 17 songs for about 80 minutes. Now, let's introduce each video. [May 25, 2006: VH1 ROCK HONORS (3 songs)] The first one to appear is an immediate highlight. It is a video of the appearance at "VH1 ROCK HONORS". The best thing is T. REX's cover "20th Century Boy". This day was two days after the release of "YEAH!", and it was played for its promotion, but here a special guest: Brian May appears! May, who still has black hair, plays that tone and fuses with DEF LEPPARD. May's sound, which is a lump of individuality, is a perfect match for DEF LEPPARD, and it is a super-excellent professional shot reminiscent of Freddie Mercury's memorial concert. [May 8, 2008: LIVE FROM ABBEY ROAD (3 songs)] The above was a promotion for "YEAH!", but the rest are all professional shots from "SONGS FROM THE SPARKLE LOUNGE" onwards. First of all, "LIVE FROM ABBEY ROAD", which appeared about two weeks after the release of "SONGS FROM THE SPARKLE LOUNGE". They also play "C'mon C'mon", which was unique to that time. As the name suggests, this program is about the band visiting "Abbey Road Studios" and performing a studio live there. There is also an interview that reveals their thoughts about the legendary studio, but the performance has a slightly different atmosphere than usual. Usually, even though it is a studio live on TV, the image is stage-like. Everyone faces forward and performs towards the Sakura audience or the virtual audience. However, this program is not like that. It was a sort of "rehearsal style," so to speak, and everyone played in a circle, enjoying the atmosphere of the studio in a natural way. There was no "showy movement" at all, and they were just concentrating on each other and their own "sound." It was definitely a live performance, but the mood was as close to a "studio recording" as possible. Of course, that alone would make the footage bland, but this is a specialized program. The mood was created with colorful and unexpected camera work and cuts. It was finished like a music video. [June 10, 2011: DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL (4 songs)] Next is a pro shot with a completely opposite mood. It was when they appeared at the outdoor festival "DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL" held in Donington, the holy land of their home country, England. Of course, it was a huge festival that inherited the tradition of "MONSTERS OF ROCK," but they have surprisingly rarely appeared in the holy land. Even counting from the "MONSTERS OF ROCK" era, they have only performed three times, in 1986, 2009, and 2011, in contrast to their contemporaries IRON MAIDEN, who boast the most headliner records. This video is the latest "2011 version" of them. The performance is the exact opposite of the studio live above, with a huge set, an open-air mood, and the joy of being bathed in the enthusiasm of a large crowd of tens of thousands. [2011 + 2012: THE TONIGHT SHOW (2 songs)] Next is a professional shot that looks like a TV show. It seems that they appeared on "THE TONIGHT SHOW", where Jay Leno is the personality. This work contains one song each that was broadcast on "May 10, 2011" and "April 6, 2012". The scene is very "TV!". The stage-like set was filled with fake cheers and clapping, and the members who were trying to act like they were on stage couldn't focus (laughs). Of course, they're veterans with a hundred battles, so there's nothing awkward about it, but compared to the above-mentioned "ABBEY ROAD" and "DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL," there's a sense of work. That's what makes it a more interesting pro shot. [September 28, 2014: NFL PRE-GAME (3 medleys)] Next is another precious pro shot. It's a performance at an NFL pre-game. Appearances at such sporting events are familiar to American bands and musicians, but the scene of this work is Wembley Stadium in the UK. This also has a completely different atmosphere from a normal concert. Not only is it bright during the day, but even if the stands are full of spectators (naturally), they're not on the ground nearby. Instead, the cheerleaders perform vigorously to the music, and fireworks go off. And the Union Jack with the DEF LEPPARD logo is spread all over the ground. DEF LEPPARD Cheer Stadium... It seems to fit the image, but something is different. It's a subtle yet extremely luxurious sight. [April 13, 2015: LA VOIX SEASON FINALE (2 medleys)] The last performance is from the season finale of the Canadian TV show "LA VOIX". This show is not a music show, but a so-called reality talent show. Therefore, instead of a normal band performance, it is a collaboration with the show's performers. At first, the band starts "Let's Get Rocked" normally, but when Joe starts singing, the performers come up on stage and it becomes a big collaboration of a festival. The mood is like a "mini red and white"... It's a common idea in Japanese idol shows, but it may be a surprisingly rare sight for a rock band. Anyway, 7 shows, 17 songs, 1 hour 21 minutes 27 seconds. It's a full-volume piece to call a complement to the main press DVD. Songs not in the main story, unusual situations, unexpected expressions. Everything is interesting, and it is a masterpiece filled with super-fine professional shots of completely official grade.
