DEEP PURPLE's last tour in Japan in 1973 was the Budokan performance, where a riot broke out after the performance, and the second day of the last Osaka performance on June 29 is especially famous. However, in this '73 Osaka performance, the live sound source at the Welfare Pension Hall on June 27th, the first day, has been known as one of the classics for a long time. ``FINAL BLACK'', which recorded this classic in the highest quality sound ever, became a hot topic among fans immediately after its release, and is currently sold out and out of print. To commemorate the release of "LIVE IN HIROSHIMA", we have decided to specially release the latest remastered version! With a clearer outlook and edgier sound than past titles, the unique sound image will be enjoyed more realistically, and even the enthusiasts who listened to the sound source of this day will be captivated once again. Together with "LIVE IN HIROSHIMA", you can enjoy the second PURPLE's 1973 performance in Japan even more deeply! This sound source has long been debated among enthusiasts as to whether it is a "line sound source" or "excellent audience recording." The opening song, "Highway Star," surprises the listener with a mix of vocals off at the beginning and a mix of keyboards and bass. The vocals start at around 1:20 in the same song, and the guitar suddenly comes to the forefront at around 3:20 before the solo, and the keyboard is even more noticeable during the solo. This gives great persuasive power to the sound source theory. However, from around “Smoke On The Water” which follows, the balance becomes stable and you will be able to enjoy the live performance with the ideal sound. Richie shows off his unique playing throughout, including the sharp backing that shows off in “Smoke On The Water,” and the dialogue with Gillan who seems to be passing each other in “Strange Kind Of Woman” (but the solo is just as expected). In many ways, you can listen to this '73-like performance with plenty of direct feeling. The big listening point of this work is “Child In Time”. In addition to John's organ, which has an amazing sound, you can clearly hear Gillan's vocals down to the delicate tones. Of course, Richie also has a sound that brings him close to the listener. Everyone will be overwhelmed by this and will be drawn into the performance. From "Lazy" which includes a drum solo, the live performance finally reached its peak with "Space Truckin'". The powerful roar of Roger's bass enhances the dynamism of the music and performance, and knocks out the listener with the best entertainment that is both powerful and terrifying! Ritchie's raging guitar and John's Hammond play solo and interplay, creating a spectacular performance that greatly excites the peak of the show (the subtle sound fluctuations in the same song make this recording an ``audience recording''). This seems to be the basis for the argument). At the end, “Black Night”, which was not played on the 29th, exploded as the last encore of the second period! Here too, the sound quality is such that the previous episodes are not an issue, allowing you to enjoy a historical scene with great power. Here, the audience's applause is clearly captured, creating an overflowing sense of realism! The entire performance is packed for approximately 80 minutes. Please take this opportunity to enjoy this classic that all hard rock fans must listen to. Along with "LIVE IN HIROSHIMA", this is a standout song that will leave a strong impression on the second PURPLE's 1973 performance in Japan!
