The golden five, Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover, and Ian Paice. A precious video of their live in Japan will be released. This work contains "May 8, 1985: Osaka Castle Hall". This is an audience shot of the first day of the reunited DEEP PURPLE's visit to Japan. First, let's look back at the schedule at that time. May 8: Osaka Castle Hall [this work] May 9: Osaka Castle Hall "OSAKA 1985 2ND NIGHT" May 11: Nagoya International Exhibition Hall May 13-16: Nippon Budokan (4 performances) We have previously delivered "OSAKA 1985 2ND NIGHT", but this work is the day before. The reunited DEEP PURPLE has visited Japan many times, but the only time the "golden five" were together was in 1985. It is the memorable first day. This work, which allows you to witness such a monumental show, is of excellent quality. Although the dubbed image quality is a little sweet, the angle is extremely excellent. A shot looking down from the second floor seats on the left side of the stage (John's side) shows the entire stage. What is most wonderful is the sense of stability, and instead of challenging bold zooms, the crisp images with almost no camera shake continue endlessly. Home video cameras, which have evolved at a stretch since the late 1980s, were still in their popular days at the time. It is miraculous that they were able to shoot so well in an era when it was all they could do to hide it. The sound that is suitable for that direct view is also a masterpiece. Starting with the opening "Highway Star", there are some shooting omissions, so it cannot be called a press CD, but the still sharp Guillan shout and Richie's tone are vivid. The taste sound created by John's Hammond is also very glossy. The first day of PURPLE's revisit drawn with such quality... This is already incredibly wonderful. Although this is a well-known performance from CDs such as "DEEP IMPACT" and "FAR FROM GOD", the presence that exudes from the "scene" is different. While showing off an ensemble that has already been familiar with after a world tour, they are also full of enthusiasm to have returned to "Japan, which is made in Japan". Richie says that he was feeling his way around the PA, but since they are a spontaneous band, this doesn't go in a bad direction. The thrilling performance and stable angles combine to create an amazing experience of "watching". Customer photography, which is commonplace today, was not possible in the 70s, and in the 80s it was only just barely possible to make it in time. The precious scene that remains can be enjoyed in excellent quality throughout almost the entire film. The five who returned. And the five who will never return. A cultural heritage of Live in Japan that witnesses the legendary first day. Live at Osaka-Jo, Osaka, Japan 8th May 1985 1. Nobody's Home 2. Strange Kind Of Woman 3. Blues 4. A Gypsy's Kiss 5.
