A new upgrade master of the famous recording that represented the Tommy Bolin era has been discovered. Introducing a CD that will forever preserve the finest sound from the master collection. The historic recording is the best audience recording of “January 23, 1976 New York City Performance”. Yes, even though it was the same recording as that masterpiece “LADY MIDNIGHT”, a further upgrade master was discovered. Moreover, the person who owned that cassette was legendary recording artist Joe Maloney. He was a historical master who was ranked alongside the likes of Mike Millard and Dan Lumpinski! If you are familiar with ``LADY MIDNIGHT'' or any of Maroney's masterpieces, I think you have already made up your mind, but for those who are not, let me introduce you from the beginning. First and foremost, the show's position. Let's look back on the progress of the IV DEEP PURPLE. 1975《“COME TASTE THE BAND” released on October 10th》・November 8th: Honolulu performance・November 13th – December 1st: Oceania (10 performances)・December 4th + 5th: Indonesia (2nd performance) Performances)・December 8-15: Japan (4 performances)・December 19: Hong Kong performance 1976・January 14-March 4: North America (34 performances) ←★Here★・March 11 Sunday - 15th: UK (5 performances) [July 24th: DEEP PURPLE disbandment announced] This is DEEP PURPLE in 1975/1976. During 1975, they toured Hawaii, Oceania, Asia, and the Pacific Rim, and in 1976, after New Year's, they moved on to the classic UK and US tours. The New York City performance of this work is the seventh performance of the "North American" leg. Speaking of Phase IV, there is also the official and familiar Long Beach performance, but that is the 30th performance of the same leg. This work was a concert about a month before that. This work recorded at such a show is truly a masterpiece. In the first place, the record itself of “COME TASTE THE BAND Tour” is valuable, and especially when it comes to overseas performances where Bolin was in good condition, this recording is the best quality. And this work is a new excavation master that has upgraded such a classic. The prestigious ``Krw_co'' has unearthed a cassette belonging to Master Maloney. This is one of the most famous products that has been transferred using the latest technology. Even in the previously released “LADY MIDNIGHT”, it seems that Gene was quite young, so it cannot be said that it is “completely different”, but in this work, the details are recorded even more finely, and the tone shines brightly. It retains the extremely thick core and zero-distance closeness that you can't imagine from the 70s, which was felt even in previous releases, and even has "shine" and "edge" that are not typical of audience recording. Of course, it would be meaningless if the high-pitched sound was digitally processed to raise the treble, but this work achieves its brilliance simply by its freshness. In other words, it may be easier to feel the vividness of minute details in deep bass. Those who have experienced "LADY MIDNIGHT" will know that the deep bass is a powerful recording, but the vibe of that deep bass is extremely delicate. To be honest, there are some scenes where the song becomes over-the-top, but even within that chatter, there's a strong vibe. Of course, the feeling of chatter is an extreme example to make the story easier to understand. Most of the parts are glossy and smooth with no chatter, and you can fully enjoy the fine detail from deep bass to treble. Although it is an amazing master owned by Maroney, it was not completely flawless. It seems that he did not record it himself, and ``This Time Around'' was cut off with only the intro, and ``Owed to G'' was also omitted in its entirety. Therefore, in this work, we use the “LADY MIDNIGHT” master to compensate. It is also the result of remastering to bring the tone as close as possible, but since it is the same recording in the first place, it is so natural that even if you listen to it knowing that it will switch here, you will not be able to tell. We have created a full live album that we would like to hear for those who have been annoyed by the original sound on the internet. What is depicted with such brilliant sound is a masterpiece that is representative of the Bolin era. As mentioned above, it is the same time as the official Long Beach performance sound board, so let's organize the set while comparing. Past songs: Season II: Smoke On The Water/Lazy/Highway Star Season III: Burn/Stormbringer Season IV: Come Taste the Band: Lady Luck/Love Child/Gettin' Tighter/This Time Around/ Drifter (★)・Cover: Going Down (★) *Note: Songs marked with a “★” cannot be heard on the official SBD of the Long Beach performance. ...and it looks like this. Even for “Drifter” and “Going Down”, there are sound boards for the Japan performance and Springfield performance, but the experience of the live performance is still special. This is an upgraded master of a legendary recording that was treasured by a famous recorder in history. The only drawback, the lack of "This Time Around/Owed to G", has been resolved, and this 2CD has been revived as the highest version in history. A one-of-a-kind live album where you can experience the best of Bolin's full show. The best audience recording of "January 23, 1976 New York City Performance". This is one of the most famous items that was discovered and transferred by the prestigious "Krw_co" from the upgraded master owned by legendary recording artist Joe Maloney. Even with the conventional version, it had a very thick core and a close contact with zero distance that you wouldn't think it was from the 70's. The umami remains the same, but the details have been further improved, and the tone has become brighter. This is an upgrade that includes "shine" and "edge" that are not typical of audience recording. Moreover, this work is an expanded version that supplements “This Time Around/Owed to G”, which was cut with the new excavated master, with the previously released master. This is a historical piece that allows you to enjoy the legendary recording of the Bolin era at its longest and highest quality.
