The new DEEP PURPLE, whose new studio work "=1" with Simon McBride has also been well received. A multi-camera video that allows you to experience their latest stage has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at the "Dresden performance on July 19, 2024". This is the multi-camera audience. Speaking of the new DEEP PURPLE, their performance in Japan last year is still fresh in my memory, and the (currently unique) full pro shot "MASTERS OF ROCK ARGENTINA 2023" has also been very well received. What position does this work occupy in such a situation? First, let's take a look at the overview of their current activities. 2023 February 10-21: North America #1 (8 performances) March 10: Surakarta performance March 13-21: Japan (4 performances) April 15-30: South America #1 (7 performances) ← *Pro shot June 8-July 22: Europe #1 (17 performances) December 17: Bangalore performance 2024 May 1st: Singapore performance June 13th-July 18th: Europe #2a (18 performances) {July 19th "=1" released} July 19th-August 8th: Europe #2b (8 performances) ←★Here★ August 14th-September 8th: North America #2 (19 performances) September 13th-17th: South America #2 (3 performances) October 17th-November 10th: Europe #3 (16 performances) This is the 2023/2024 schedule that has been announced so far. The new work "=1" was released during the summer "Europe #2" leg, but the Dresden performance of this work was also the very day of its release. This work, which vacuum-packs such a show, is a multi-camera edited work that suddenly appeared as the first report of the tour. Depending on the number of materials, it may be almost one camera depending on the song, but basically, the overwhelming impression is that the viewpoint changes even during the song. And even with one-camera songs, the main camera itself is a "breathtaking view" like a painting, so it's amazing. It's shot diagonally from the right side of the stage (McBride's side), but it's so close (about the third row?), and the viewpoint is so high that the audience in front is framed out and only the stage occupies the field of vision. The scene is just a large outdoor movie theater with almost no difference in height between the seats, but the viewpoint is high, as if it were a stand-up shoot, and it's not so different from the members on stage. There are also pro-shot images projected on a huge screen at the back of the stage, so even with one-camera songs, it's a powerful performance that is far removed from the audience. The latest "= 1 More Time Tour" is depicted with such beautiful images. "Uncommon Man" and the keyboard solo in the second half of the show have been cut, so it's not a complete recording, but it's still amazing to watch for about 80 minutes. As mentioned above, the footage after McBride joined is based on the masterpiece pro shot "MASTERS OF ROCK ARGENTINA 2023", so let's organize the set by comparing it here as well. =1 (4 songs) A Bit On The Side (★) / Lazy Sod (★) / Portable Door (★) / Bleeding Obvious (★) Classics (9 songs) Phase II: Highway Star / Hard Lovin' Man (★) / Into The Fire / Lazy / Space Truckin' / Smoke On The Water / Black Night Others: Anya / Hush *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that was not seen in the masterpiece pro shot "MASTERS OF ROCK ARGENTINA 2023". ... and so on. "Hard Lovin' Man", which has been revived for the first time in eight years, is also delicious, but the highlight is the new songs of "=1". The British hard rock style has been praised, but it also looks great on stage. Although omitted above, McBride's guitar solo is also well recorded, and Gary Moore's "End Of The World" is also perfect. McBride Purple was born unexpectedly due to Steve Morse's family problems. Last year's performance in Japan was also great, but the "= 1 More Time Tour" which included new songs based on McBride has deepened even further. Far from retiring, the new DEEP PURPLE has reached even greater heights. Please enjoy the multi-camera footage that is the first report. The latest video of the "= 1" tour with Simon McBride has been released. With multi-camera editing that switches angles even during the song, you can enjoy McBride's solo imitating Gary Moore and the new songs of the popular "= 1".
