“Europe in 1993” marked the end of the Ritchie Blackmore era. A new excavation live album that permanently preserves the scene is now available. What is engraved in this work is “Oldenburg performance on October 6, 1993”. This is the best audience recording. Speaking of Ritchie's last tour, there are a variety of titles such as official works such as "COME HELL OR HIGH WATER" and "LIVE IN EUROPE 1993" and our big series "BATTLE OVER GERMANY 1993". Some people may be thinking, "Again?", but this work is a new masterpiece that reaches a new dimension even in such a collection. To explain its meaning, let's organize the "Europe in 1993" collection by date. [“Purple Crusade” released on July 2nd]・September 21st-25th (3 performances) B: September 26th “BATTLE MASTER (Milan SBD)”・September 27th + 29th (2 performances) C :October 1st-3rd "BATTLE OVER GERMANY 1993 VOL.1 (3 performances)" C: October 4th-7th "Same VOL.2 (3 performances)" ←★Here★C: October 8th -11th “Same VOL.3 (3 performances)” C: October 13th-15th “Same VOL.4 (3 performances)” A: October 16th Stuttgart performance [Official] / October 18th (Maquierville) Performance) B: October 19th "PARIS BATTLE (SBD)" October 21st - November 8th (12 performances) A: November 9th Birmingham performance [Official] C: November 12th "BATTLE OVER EUROPE" 1993 (Copenhagen)' A: November 13th Stockholm performance [Official] C: November 15th 'BATTLE OVER EUROPE 1993 (Oslo)' B: November 17th 'BATTLE OVER EUROPE 1993 (Helsinki)' & 'RITCHIE'S LAST ”《Ritchie Blackmore leaves》 *Note: Only representative works are shown each day. “A” is the show that is an official work, and “B” is the day when the sound board is left. “C” is a live performance that has been introduced in the audience recording. This is the progress from the release of "Purple Crusade" to Ritchie's departure. The Oldenburg performance of this work was the 11th concert out of a total of 38 performances. When you look at this list, it seems like there are a lot of items overflowing, but if you check it carefully, you will see that it is divided into three levels. The collection so far has been in three stages: “A: Official Album,” “B: Soundboard,” and “C: Audience Recording.” However, this rule is still in place. This work is a “permanent preservation audience recording” that was finally born. Why was permanent preservation achieved? Of course, it is the highest quality with "super". As mentioned above, the Oldenburg performance itself could be heard as part of “BATTLE OVER GERMANY 1993 VOL.2”, but this work is a completely different recording. This is the latest transfer by "Mats. L" who has released masterpiece masters one after another, and the quality is completely different from previous ones. For those who have not experienced the previous episodes, “BATTLE OVER GERMANY 1993 VOL.2” was not a bad recording at all, but rather it was at a high enough level according to the standards of the 90’s audience. However, this work is completely different from that famous recording. Although it is not the type that can be mistaken for a sound board in terms of tone, the fineness of detail is comparable to that of a sound board, and the sharpness of the edges floating in the transparent atmosphere is comparable to official works. And what is decisively different from many audience recordings is the strength of the core. It is different from the close contact feeling of zero distance, but the core that cuts sharply is sharp and vivid like a laser beam flying around the venue. On top of that, it doesn't feel sparse at all, it has a high density as if the sound has mass, and it has a great sense of stability. On top of that, the brilliance and dynamism of the slight hall sound is irresistible. It is a live album with beautiful sounds and heat that can only be achieved by the audience. Moreover, this work is the highest peak edition that further elevates such a new master. In the released original sound, recording omissions such as tape changes were compensated for with separate recordings, but the connection was somewhat rough and the tape speed was faster. Therefore, in addition to precise pitch correction, this work has reprocessed the compensation parts. The result is a musical work that is more seamless, beautiful, and 100% immersive without any discomfort. What is depicted with such super realistic sound is a full show at the beginning of the tour when Richie and the band were still breathing well. Sets are familiar, but it's also a good time to organize them. 70's Classics in Rock: Child In Time/Speed King・Fireball: Anyone's Daughter・Machine Head: Highway Star/Lazy/Space Truckin'/Smoke On The Water・Purple Portrait: Woman From Tokyo・Others: Black Night/Paint It Black 80's onwards・Perfect Strangers: Perfect Strangers/Knocking At Your Back Door・Purple Crusade: Talk About Love/A Twist In The Tale/Anya/The Battle Rages On・Others: Difficult To Cure/ Blues... and it looks like this. There are no rare songs that you can listen to for the first time now, but the experience of being able to synchronize with the passage of time at the scene and the realistic breathing of the audience is unique to audience recording. This is not a recording that is bothered by close-up voices (never!), but the excitement and chanting that rises in response to the enthusiasm of the performance is extremely realistic. Then, that joy feeds back to the stage, increasing the momentum of the rhythm and the strength of the shouts... Standing in the middle of such a "flow". You can fully enjoy that scream and the interaction between the organ and Strat with the finest sound that feels right in front of your eyes. The last days that Ritchie Blackmore spent with DEEP PURPLE. In the final stages of the tour, irreparable cracks could no longer be hidden, but in the early stages of the tour they put on a wonderful show that could only be expected from the “Golden Five.” This work is a live album that allows you to seamlessly experience such a full show. A 2CD with an experience that cannot be enjoyed with official works or soundboards. As the pinnacle of the 1993 European Audience Collection... no, this is a new masterpiece that should be enjoyed by those who have never had the chance to make audience recordings. This is a grand birth. The best audience recording of "October 6, 1993 Oldenburg Performance". This is a new excavated recording that is completely different from what has already been released, and the fineness of detail is comparable to that of a soundboard, and the sharpness of the edges floating in the transparent atmosphere is comparable to official works. And what is decisively different from many audience recordings is the strength of the core. It is different from the close contact feeling of zero distance, but the core that cuts sharply is sharp and vivid like a laser beam flying around the venue. This is the birth of a new masterpiece that allows you to fully experience Ritchie's last "1993 Europe", which until now only existed at the CDR level.
