The IIIrd period of DEEP PURPLE embodied the ideal form of gorgeous hard rock, introducing twin vocals to the basic structure of guitar vs. keyboard. Two new masters that convey the precious scene will be released simultaneously. This work is the first part of such a two-part series. It is an audience recording of the "Munich performance on September 20, 1974". We handle DEEP PURPLE in all careers, but the III period is particularly popular. In the short period of one year and four months, the set and ensemble tone have changed rapidly, and even slight differences in time are important. First of all, let's approach the position of this work from the whole picture of the activity, including the symbolic works of each period. 1973 September: Phase III begins November: Purple Flame complete December 9-17: Europe #1 (5 shows) 1974 January 20-26: Europe #2 (5 shows) February 15: Purple Flame released March 3-April 9: North America #1 (28 shows) ←※CALIFORNIA JAM April 18-June 27: UK (25 shows) ←※LIVE IN LONDON etc. August 24-30: North America #2 (4 shows) ←※HARTFORD 1974 September: Storm Messenger complete September 18-28: Europe #3 (9 shows) ←★here★ November 8: Storm Messenger released November 13-December 17: North America #3 (19 shows) ←※LONG BEACH ARENA 1974 and others 1975 January 25th "SUNBURY 75" {March 14th "Silver Mountain Champion" completed} March 16th-April 7th: Europe #4 (12 performances) ← *MADE IN EUROPE and others {Ritchie Blackmore leaves the band} This is the overall picture of the third phase of DEEP PURPLE. The Munich performance of this work is "Europe #3", which had created "STORMBRINGER" but had not yet been released. It was the second concert. This work conveys such a show, and is a new master with a fresh young generation. It is clear that it is a different thing from the master recently released by famous collector "Lucifer Burns", which starts from tuning before the show, unlike the conventional version that started in the middle of "Burn". On the other hand, there is also a spectacular cut in that "Burn", and it seems that it is not the original but the same recording route. However, the sound is overwhelmingly better with the new master. In the first place, the conventional masters were "thankful to be able to listen to it" because the tape was twisted, distorted, and had a whispering balance, but this work is not like that. The clear and dense core feels so close that it is hard to believe it is the same recording, and combined with the fine details, it is full of directness. Of course, it is still in the realm of vintage audiences, but unlike the conventional version where you listen to the sound of the performance, you can immerse yourself in the ensemble in top form. Moreover, this work is the highest peak that has raised the potential of such a new master. Although the original sound released online had a beautiful young gene sound, the pitch changed randomly. Therefore, in this work, the stability is improved by adjusting it as much as possible. The pitch that changed in the original sound was difficult to hear (to be honest, it was drunk) is now a live album that flows comfortably. Even though it has been upgraded, it is not perfect, and the cut in "Burn" is painful. Still, nothing beats the thrill of being able to enjoy the live performance of the III period with a fresh young gene sound. While it is for collectors, it is a new masterpiece that collectors will never be able to avoid. A legendary audience recording of the "Munich performance on September 20, 1974". The new master released by the famous collector "Lucifer Burns" is a significant upgrade from the previous version. The clear and dense core feels so close that it is hard to believe it is the same recording, and combined with the fine details, it has a lot of directness. In addition, the pitch, which had been randomly changed by the unique mastering, has been corrected, making it the best version.
