This work was filmed at the "September 15, 1996 Kiev (Ukraine) performance". The quality is perfect, with a multi-camera pro shot, and the image and sound quality can be made official as is. Not only can you watch the live performance from various angles, but the camera work is also very dynamic, licking the sky above the large crowd from a distance and moving boldly to the stage. This camera work is not often seen at rock concerts, which tend to focus on the hands, but this may also be a sense of unfamiliarity in Eastern Europe. Moreover, the strangely luxurious lighting, which for some reason illuminates the ceiling of the venue instead of the members, and the simple stage set, on the other hand, are strange. It is probably a production that was prepared by studying Western rock images, but despite the quality of the most advanced technology (at the time), there is something off. This sense of unfamiliarity is not a bad thing, and the mood of "Eastern Europe in the 1990s" that all of these things combine to create is extremely fresh. And it's not just the screen that exudes the Eastern European feel. The sound is a super direct sound directly connected to the table, but there are almost no cheers. There is clearly no awareness of recording the cheers on the microphone and mixing them. Moreover, the passionate performance of DEEP PURPLE, approaching with that super direct sound, is amazing. This day was the first time that DEEP PURPLE set foot in the land. Since their performance in Hungary in 1987, they have gradually started to perform live in Eastern Europe, but this was their first live performance in Ukraine, which was also a constituent country of the former Soviet Union. Of course, the zero cheers sound of SOUNDBOARD does not require a sense of realism, but the enthusiasm of the large audience projected is not half-hearted. In the 1990s, when the world was in upheaval, DEEP PURPLE went to Eastern Europe, which had just opened up, welcoming new blood Steve Morse. There, there are enthusiastic audiences who are not trapped in the past, and they themselves are slamming "everything they can do now" and competing. This is a masterpiece pro shot that allows you to enjoy the refreshingness of the serious battle wrapped in a mood unique to Eastern Europe. DEEP PURPLE responding to the hot air craving for rock.
