The live performance in Paris on July 9th, known as the definitive professional shot footage of the reunited Purple, has been released on Blu-ray in official HD quality from the re-aired footage that was aired in recent years. First of all, since this stage was broadcast footage, professional shot live performances have been in circulation since then, and then in 2012, the re-aired footage on Rockpalast, a German public broadcaster, ZDF, appeared as a quality-upgraded version, and now the first HD version aired by another German public TV station, ARD1, is recorded in full HD for 101 minutes. This DVD has a limited ability to express details and smoothness, which is only possible with the SD version of DVD, but it is reproduced in full HD, which is only possible with the high resolution of Blu-ray, and the recorded audio is uncompressed linear PCM stereo, the maximum standard only available with Blu-ray, so it is perfect, and it could not be any better unless it is released in 4K. And the content and performance were wonderful as already known, from the opening "Highway Star" which starts with the majestic "Toccata and Fugue in D minor", to the call and response in the latter half of "Strange Kind Of Woman", to the encore "Smoke On The Water" which includes songs from "PERFECT STRANGERS", you can once again realize how fulfilling the reunited Purple is. This is a must-have permanent item that will burn into your memory the original 5 members of Purple, who will never be seen again. 01. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor 02. Highway Star 03.
