A professional shot of "California Jam" that has transcended the boundaries of DEEP PURPLE's masterpiece and reached the realm of "rock textbook". The definitive edition that has updated its highest quality is born. This work was shot, of course, at "Ontario Motor Speedway Park on April 6, 1974". This is a multi-camera professional shot. The "California Jam" footage is a classic in rock history. It has been officially released on VHS and other platforms for a long time, and various versions have appeared since then, and is now familiar on the complete Blu-ray version. Why can this work be said to be of the highest quality? In order to explain this, let's briefly review the history of official releases here.・I: 1981 (first VHS/Beta/LD) ・R: 1990 (VHS/LD reissue) ・H: 2000 (first DVD) ←★This★ ・N: 2005 (Extended DVD) ・E: 2016 (New BD/DVD) A reprint of the most beautiful first DVD version of the BBC master... and so on. There are minor differences depending on the country and region, but there were mainly five types of releases. The five types can be broadly divided into two, and from the first video version "I" to the first DVD version "H" in 2000, they are basically the same (although there are subtitles and slight differences in image quality) and were produced from the master held by the BBC in the UK. It is an incomplete version that does not include "Lay Down, Stay Down", which is familiar to veteran collectors. That changed dramatically from "N" in 2005. The master used was based on the "In Concert" broadcast version of the US ABC, not the UK BBC, and was significantly expanded with airport arrival scenes, "Lay Down, Stay Down", and two different angles for the songs. Many people were delighted with this achievement. Then, 10 years later, the image quality was digitally remastered and upgraded with further new materials. In order to match the two, the image quality of both the US ABC version and the UK BBC version was also processed to aim for perfection as a single video work. Although "California Jam" evolved in this way, there was one fundamental problem. That is, "the US ABC version is not as good as the UK BBC version in terms of image quality." Setting aside the recording time for a moment, the maniacs examined "Which is the best?" in terms of "visual beauty", and the conclusion was "Ha". It was the first DVD version "VPBR-11035" released only in Japan. In fact, its visual beauty is at its finest. As mentioned above, it is more beautiful than "Ni-Ho", but compared to the earlier "I-Ro", the pixels feel finer and the stability is also wonderful. This is a complete guess, but I think that when it was made into a DVD, the Japanese side re-raised it from the original BBC master (the subtitles are also different from the VHS/LD version). Although the introduction was long, this work is a reproduction of such a Japanese treasure "VPBR-11035" and further upgraded. In other words, it is a DVD that boasts the highest peak of visual beauty in existence. The ultimate quality version with the highest peak of audio The upgrade point of this work, which has the ultimate visual beauty, is the audio. Although "Ha" is an official DVD, it is a work from more than 20 years ago. At that time, the official was somewhat indifferent to the audio of the video work, and it could not be said that the audio was the best. Therefore, this work is a meticulous remaster of the original official sound board. It has been finished to a quality that is more than enough by modern standards. The sound is not inferior to the highest peak of visual beauty. The flat and bland original sound has been given a lot more power, and the three-dimensional effect has been enhanced. Of course, it would be pointless if the sound were too loud with a groove waveform, but there is no need to worry about that with this work. The dynamism is pursued at a level that does not impair the natural feeling, and it balances reality and artistic beauty with beautiful visual beauty. If you have noticed this article, I think you have also checked out the ``50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION'' released the other day. While that new standard is themed on ``complete form/rawness,'' this work aims for the extreme north with only one point ``quality.'' This work is also a piece that has reached the pinnacle of 50 years of history from a completely different perspective. A new version that upgrades the first DVD version, which is now difficult to obtain. A multi-camera pro shot of ``California Jam on April 6, 1974.'' Of the two systems ``BBC in the UK/ABC in the US,'' this is the highest peak update of the incomplete but beautiful BBC master. This album has been reissued from the out-of-print DVD "VPBR-11035," which is said to be the best among collectors, and the audio has been meticulously remastered to modern standards. Although it does not include "Lay Down, Stay Down," this album embodies the highest quality in both video and audio. Ontario Motor Speedway, CA, USA 6th April 1974 PRO-SHOT*UPGRADE!!! (76:14) 1.
