The IIIrd period of DEEP PURPLE embodied the ideal form of gorgeous hard rock, introducing twin vocals to the basic structure of guitar vs. keyboard. Two new masters that convey the precious scene will be released simultaneously. This work is the second part of such a series. It is an audience recording of the "Melbourne performance on January 25, 1975". Speaking of 1975, it was a historical turning point when Ritchie Blackmore was replaced by Tommy Bolin. In the simultaneously released "MUNICH 1974 (Shades 2360)", we looked at the overall picture of the IIIth period, but here we will focus on "1975". 1975 January 25: Melbourne performance ←★This work★ {February 20-March 14: Production of "Silver Mountain Champion"} March 16-April 7: Europe (12 performances) ←※Official MADE IN EUROPE, etc. {April: Ritchie Blackmore leaves the band → June: Tommy Bolin joins} {October 10: "COME TASTE THE BAND" released} November 8: Honolulu performance November 13-December 1: Oceania (10 performances) December 4+5: Indonesia (2 performances) December 8-15: Japan (4 performances) ←※Official THIS TIME AROUND December 19: Hong Kong performance This is the fateful year of 1975. Speaking of Australia that year, there was also the "Oceania" tour in November, but that was Phase IV. This work was a special performance at the Sunbury Music Festival, which was held only once before Richie started working on "The Silver Mountain Champion". This work, which vacuum-packs such a historic show, is a new master released by the famous collector "Lucifer Burns" like the simultaneously released "MUNICH 1974". It is not as spectacular as "MUNICH 1974", but that is because the Munich recording was too difficult to release. This work is also a masterpiece that has a strong core and fine details, and is sure to be the highest peak update sound. Richie's guitar in particular is wonderful, and even the light cutting can be clearly heard to the nuance, and the glossiness of the long tone is like nectar. The scene is a special stage on a vast farm, and the sound output with zero echoes without walls or ceilings is directly picked up. This work is also the best version that updates the highest peak of that precious record. In fact, this recording is known for running out of battery in the second half, and the pitch is spectacularly unstable (it is off by almost a whole tone at most). It was the same with the new master, but this work has been corrected as much as possible. The effect of the final stage, when the battery finally becomes dangerous, is particularly great. To be honest, the original sound on the net was quite messy, but this work has been quite successful in recovering it. With the know-how of having worked on many DEEP PURPLE recordings so far, the "1975 sound output" is also properly understood. Although it cannot be said that it is "exactly as the on-site sound", it is in a different dimension from the original sound that was not heard. Literally the eve of RAINBOW. It is a valuable live album that allows you to enjoy the stage before that "MADE IN EUROPE". Although it is a vintage record for researchers / enthusiasts, there is no doubt that it is an unavoidable live album for those who have stepped into it. A two-disc set that harbours the depths of audience culture where new masters are still being unearthed. The legendary audience recording of the "Melbourne performance on January 25, 1975". The new master released by the famous collector "Lucifer Burns" is a masterpiece that combines a strong core with fine details. Richie's guitar in particular is excellent, and even the light cutting can be clearly heard to the nuance, and the glossiness of the long tone is like nectar. The recording is unstable in pitch due to the battery running out in the second half, but this work has been corrected as much as possible with unique mastering. You can enjoy the best version of this valuable record. Sunbury Festival, Melbourne, Australia 25th January 1975 TRULY AMAZING SOUND UPGRADE!!! Disc:1 (45:14) 1. Intro 2. Burn 3. Stormbringer 4.
