"Montreal performance on November 1, 1986". This is a good opportunity, so let's take a look at the strongest band's only world tour in total. [1986] {"EAT 'EM AND SMILE" released on July 7th} August 12-15: Rehearsal (4 performances) August 16-October 11: North America #1 (38 performances) October 23-December 19: North America #2 (38 performances) ←★Here★ [1987] January 6: Rehearsal January 7-February 22: North America #3 (28 performances) This is the overall picture of "EAT 'EM AND SMILE TOUR 1986-1987". The Montreal performance of this work was the 8th concert. This work, which contains such a show, has been known for its masterpiece audience shots for a long time. This work is the highest peak version. The representative video of this tour is the Detroit performance (you can enjoy it in "DEFINITIVE DETROIT 1986"), but this video is also amazing. It was shot from the stand seats in front of the center of the stage, looking down a little, and the handrail of the front seat is used as a tripod, so the visibility and stability with zero obstructions are amazing. Despite the super active show where Dave, Vai and Billy run around the huge stage from left to right, they are able to capture the highlights without any camera shake. The person who achieved this much footage is a master representative of Montreal in the 1980s. He is the person who recorded VAN HALEN's "MONTREAL 1984", which was recently released as a gift and became very popular, and the angles and techniques are very similar. It is also the EAT 'EM BAND version of that super video. And this work is also outstanding in master freshness. It is a famous video that is also available on video sites, but it is completely different from the blurred site video. Although it is difficult to say for sure if it is the original master himself, there is no doubt that it is quite high-ranking, and if the color is natural, the details are super vivid. And the show depicted by that beautiful image is amazing, it's amazing! Anyway, the three front members are flashy and super active. They fly, they run, it's like there are three Angus Youngs. Moreover, they are big. All the members are over 180 cm tall, and the three big towers run around. As mentioned above, this photographer also recorded VAN HALEN in 1984, but it makes the huge Montreal Forum look small. Moreover, the combination is exquisite. The three don't have a very good image because they collapsed soon, but on stage they are like brothers who were born and raised together. Vai & Billy often line up next to each other and mess with each other's fingerboards, and in "Ladies' Nite In Buffalo?" and the solo time in the second half of the show, it's almost a comedy. Of course, Dave is not losing either. They scatted and exchanged rapid-fire phrases while staying close to Billy, and Vi stuck his head out from between Dave's legs and imitated a penis... Anyway, the stage was a playground, and they played around with music. It was a time when Vi and Billy's amazing skills were the only things that were noticed, but that's not the essence. Both of them not only had extraordinary skills, but also an explosive sense of humor. And because all three of them, including Dave, have excellent musical sense and drawers, it's not a string of sounds, but is so funny that it's funny. And Greg Bissonette, who is active in the jazz/fusion world, is in no way inferior to the three bold and carefree people. ...This awesomeness and fun is only possible because it's a video. In addition to the full show, this work also includes valuable professional shot footage as a bonus. It was an appearance on the Japanese TV program "Yoru no Hit Studio," but it was not a live broadcast from when they came to Japan in 1988, but from the EAT 'EM BAND era when Billy was also there. The talk where the host says "Your voice sounds like Ryoichi Tamagawa!" is fun, and you can watch the performance of "Yankee Rose" in a multi-camera pro shot (although the performance is mime). It's shocking that there was a pro shot from the EAT 'EM BAND era, and it was broadcast in Japan. To be honest, the image quality of this part is not good, but the precious pro shot is overwhelming. It's absolutely amazing. Everything is amazing about the EAT 'EM BAND. Just by gathering masters of instruments, you can't be called the "strongest". It's a super entertainment show where overwhelming virtuosity is nothing but a toy. A masterpiece video that allows you to experience the full show of a miraculous rock band in the highest quality.
