“RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” toured the world for a whole year. A special audience album for the final day, “September 30, 2016 Royal Albert Hall (hereinafter referred to as “RAH”) performance” is now available. The preview show that was held on September 5, 2015, was talked about as “his first solo tour in 9 years” and “a big performance of PINK FLOYD numbers” (the preview show can be seen in “DEFINTIIVE BRIGHTON 2015”). You can enjoy it). One year, three weeks, and four days later, the last day has finally arrived. Before we get into the details, let's first look back on the past year. ・September 5th - September 19th, 2015: Preview & European Tour #1 (6 shows) ・September 23rd - October 3rd, 2015: UK Tour #1 (5 shows) -December 11th, 2015 Sunday - December 20th: South American tour (6 performances) March 24th - April 12th, 2016: North American tour (11 performances) April 24th, 2016: TEENAGE CANCER TRUST (1 performance) June 25th - July 28th: European Tour #2 (17 performances) ・September 23rd - 30th, 2016: UK Tour #2 (5 performances) ←★Here★ This is “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR 2015-2016 ” all 50 performances. So far, we have reported on half of the 25 performances with 27 titles, but we have finally reached the end. This work is a wonderful audience sound suitable for a memorial. The other day, we delivered ``ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2016 1ST NIGHT'' and ``ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2016 2ND NIGHT'' from the final leg ``UK #2'', and the music flowing from this work is absolutely beautiful. The uniqueness of the recording is close to that of "2ND NIGHT," and the extremely thick musical tone/well-balanced sound makes you want to call it "just like a soundboard," but as an added bonus, you can fully enjoy the sound that is unique to traditional venue RAH. . Just like the previous masterpieces, the world authority on Pink Floyd research carefully selected the final day recordings and supervised the mastering, but its beauty is one of the best on the entire tour. Although everything is beautiful, what is especially wonderful is the deep bass. It's so powerful and realistic that you can even feel the trembling of the floors and walls of "RAH," yet it's on the verge of causing vibrations due to excessive input. That edge-of-your-seat dynamism pervades the entire story. Of course, it's not just the bass that's strong and bouncy (never!); it's perfectly balanced with the laser-like bright highs and rich midrange. At the time of writing this manuscript, it seems that the researchers have not yet decided on the "best recording of the 4th day", so we cannot say for sure that it is "RAH's best", but it is probably the best... that kind of sound. That's it. The show drawn with such a sound is exactly the “completed form of RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR”. This tour is the culmination of fine-tuning of the set list little by little while touring around the world. Comparing it to the preview show a year ago, the songs played were replaced by Floyd numbers (``Us And Them'', ``Astronomy Domine'' → ``What Do You Want From Me'', ``The Great Gig In The Sky, One Of These Days" and "Coming Back To Life"), but the order of the songs has changed in detail, allowing you to enjoy a more natural flow and a highly complete worldview. As a matter of fact, there were changes during the “Final 5 Days of RAH”, and one song at the end of the show changed as follows. ・September 23rd = “The Girl In The Yellow Dress” ・September 25th = “Us And Them” ・September 28th = “Us And Them” ・September 29th = “Us And Them” ・September 30th = "The Girl In The Yellow Dress" ← [This work] Of these, days 2-4 were a set unique to "UK #2", but the final day returned to the same as the first day ( (This set has been introduced as "SET B+D" so far). This is also the largest set, accounting for about half of “Europe #2”, and it concluded the world tour with a show composition that correctly represents the latter half of the tour. “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” has produced countless superb recordings. Even in modern times, where the number of superb sound sources has increased due to the advancement of digital equipment, the “sound source abnormal situation” to this point is unprecedented. In other words, this tour has attracted so much attention and has been held among highly conscious audiences. Not only in Gilmore's history, but also in the modern rock scene as a whole, this is a high-quality tour, and a great recording worthy of marking the final day of the tour. The final form of “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” drawn with that sound. This is the current final destination of progressive rock's journey.
