The official video of Gilmour's early solo tour is reprinted with the highest quality ever. This work is a precise digitization of the official video "PINK FLOYD'S DAVID GILMOUR". Our shop has reprinted many masterpiece analog videos that have been out of print for a long time, but this work is a rare gem among them. Until now, not only has it never been released on laser disc, but even on Japanese VHS, and this work was created from the original release of the imported video. However, the quality is so beautiful that you will be surprised, "Isn't this a laser disc!?" As always, it has been digitized from a mint quality product treasured by a domestic core collector, but the screen does not have tracking noise or white line noise, and there is no distortion at the edge of the screen, which is supposed to be the fate of video tape. Of course, the sound is also perfect with the official sound board, and there is no noise or deterioration at all. Although it is digitized using high-end equipment, you can see plenty of Gilmour's early scenes with an incredible sense of stability. This work contains the entire three-part composition included in the original version. The first part is a professional shot live performance of "April 30, 1984 Hammersmith Odeon performance", the second part is video clips of "Blue Light" and "All Lovers Are Deranged", and the third part is a documentary featuring Gilmour going solo outside the Pink Floyd framework. The clips are full of the feeling of the era when Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was sweeping the world, but the biggest highlight is the 1984 concert. This Hammersmith performance was also the release date of Roger Waters' "The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking", and Gilmour's appearance, which is the opposite of that conceptual world, is dazzling. The band that supports him is also solid, including Mick Ralphs, who is currently on hiatus from BAD COMPANY, Greg Dechert, who will also be participating in the reorganized BAD COMPANY, Mickey Feet, formerly of STREETWALKERS, Jodi Linscott, formerly of KOKOMO, Raphael Ravenscroft, who also participated in "THE FINAL CUT", and Chris Slade, currently of AC/DC... British craftsmen are all gathered together. The ensemble is flawless and powerful, yet exudes the flavor unique to British rock. In addition, Roy Harper sits on the stool on "Short and Sweet", and Nick Mason sits on the stool in addition to Roy on "Comfortably Numb". After that, the first step of Gilmour, who took over PINK FLOYD, can be seen in the highest official quality in history. And the set list is also unique to this work. Although it is an excerpt version far from a full show as it is a video software, FLOYD's numbers are only two songs, "Run Like Hell" and "Comfortably Numb" (these were the only two songs in the full show on the day). Instead, two songs were selected from his solo debut work "DAVID GILMOUR" and five songs from "ABOUT FACE", which is clearly different from the solo tour after he started carrying the "PINK FLOYD" signboard. "That guitar" sounds plenty in the sound world of 1984. "ABOUT FACE TOUR 1984" was special in his entire career. This is a video that revives the official video with the highest quality ever.
