This work is a live video that compiles three professional shots of TV appearances in 2002. Let's take a closer look at each video. [TOP OF THE POPS 2 (3 songs)] First up are the three songs from "TOP OF THE POPS 2". All the songs were recorded on "June 2, 2002", but the broadcasts were different: "Slow Burn" was broadcast on June 7, "Fame" on June 18, and "I Took A Trip On A Gemini Spaceship" on June 19. "TOP OF THE POPS" is often a mime, but this recording is a live performance with the audience in a stage-like set. As mentioned in the main commentary, the most valuable songs are "Slow Burn" and "I Took A Trip On A Gemini Spaceship". The latter in particular is said to have been rarely performed on stage except for the New York and London performances, which were the "HEATHEN" reenactment shows. You can watch such rare songs with BBC quality multi-camera professional shots. [MICHAEL PARKINSON SHOW (2 songs)] The next pro shot is the same as the bonus of the main press CD, "MICHAEL PARKINSON SHOW". It was recorded on "September 19, 2002" and broadcast on "September 21". Like "TOP OF THE POPS 2", it is a live performance in a station studio, and "Life On Mars?" is a duo with Mike Garson, singing with only the piano in the background. The above "TOP OF THE POPS 2" was still a stage-like performance with an audience, but this was completely set. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed, with Bowie in a gray sweatshirt and Sterling Campbell wearing a mysterious T-shirt with "FALUN GONG Falun Dafa (Chinese Qigong)" printed on it. Studio cheers that are reminiscent of a TV show are also layered, and a different mood from the fashionable stage can be seen with the multi-camera. The mood is particularly noticeable between songs. The CD only had two live studio songs, but this album also includes an interview between them. Tom Hanks, who was also a guest on the same episode, was also there (by the way, he had just released the movie "Road to Perdition" at the time), and Bowie was on his own, full of jokes. You can enjoy his TV appearance in a very friendly mood. [LATER... WITH JOOLS HOLLAND (3 songs)] The last one is a TV appearance that is not related to the CD. This is a professional shot of him appearing on the famous BBC program "LATER... WITH JOOLS HOLLAND". The host, Jools Holland, is famous as a TV show host, but he is also the keyboardist of SQUEEZE. This video was taken on "September 20, 2002", and he performed three live studio songs, "Rebel Rebel", "5.15 the Angels Have Gone", and "Heathen". This was also recorded in a station set, but it had the most live atmosphere of the three videos (the audience seats on the side of the stage are very TV-like), with cheers flying between songs. By the way, this was the first time the newly recorded version of "Rebel Rebel" was performed on TV. The highlights are "TOP OF THE POPS 2" and "MICHAEL PARKINSON SHOW".
