“HEATHEN Tour” announced the “Bowie revival” to the world. A professional shot collection that allows you to fully witness the appearance at that time has been decided to be released. This work includes three famous TV programs that appeared in 2002. Now, let's introduce each video in detail. [TOP OF THE POPS 2 (3 songs)] The first three songs to appear are “TOP OF THE POPS 2”. All songs were recorded on "June 2, 2002," but the broadcasts were different: "Slow Burn" on June 7, "Fame" on June 18, and "I Took A Trip On A Gemini Spaceship." ' was broadcast on June 19th. “TOP OF THE POPS” is often referred to as a mime, but this recording is a live performance with the audience included in a stage-like set. After all, “Slow Burn” and “I Took A Trip On A Gemini Spaceship” are valuable. In particular, the latter is a number that is said to have hardly been played on stage, except for the New York performance and London performance, which was a reenactment show of "HEATHEN". You can watch such extremely rare songs with BBC quality multi-camera professional shots. [MICHAEL PARKINSON SHOW (2 songs)] The next professional shot is also a famous program “MICHAEL PARKINSON SHOW”. It was recorded on "September 19, 2002" and broadcast on "September 21." Like “TOP OF THE POPS 2”, “Life On Mars?” is a live performance in the station studio, and “Life On Mars?” is a duo with Mike Garson, singing earnestly with only the piano in the background. “TOP OF THE POPS 2” above was still stage-like with an audience included, but this one was shot completely on set. The atmosphere was very relaxed, with Bowie wearing a gray sweatshirt and Starlin Campbell wearing a mysterious T-shirt with the words ``FALUN GONG'' printed on it. The studio cheers that look like a TV show are also layered, and the multi-camera footage shows a different mood from the fashionable stage. In fact, this mood is particularly felt in the interview that took place between songs. Tom Hanks, who was a guest on the same episode, was also present (by the way, he had just released the movie ``Road to Perdition'' at the time), and Bowie was in the spotlight, completely joking. You can see him enjoying his TV appearance in a truly peaceful mood. [LATER… WITH JOOLS HOLLAND (3 songs)] The final shot is a professional shot from when he appeared on the famous BBC program “LATER… WITH JOOLS HOLLAND”. Host Jools Holland is famous as a TV show host, but she is also the keyboardist for SQUEEZE. This video is from their appearance on "September 20, 2002," where they performed three studio live songs: "Rebel Rebel," "5.15 the Angels Have Gone," and "Heathen." This is also recorded on an in-house set, but it has the most live atmosphere of the three types of footage, with cheers flying between songs (the audience seats on the side of the stage are clearly TV). By the way, this was the first time the newly recorded version of "Rebel Rebel" was shown on TV. During the "HEATHEN" era, they not only went on a full-fledged world tour for the first time in a while, but also actively appeared in the media. This work, along with masterpieces such as "LIVE BY REQUEST 2002" and "JONATHAN ROSS SHOW: BBC TV 2002 & 2003", is one of the cornerstones of the professional shot collection. Not only is the live performance amazing, but also the interviews and TV-accustomed behavior exude a professional shot collection.
