The leaked recordings of the unreleased album "TOY", which was scheduled to be released in 2001 and became the biggest topic of David Bowie in recent years, are now available as a collector's item. There have been many collector's items titled "TOY" up until now, but contrary to the title of the unreleased album, all of them were live recordings, outtakes, radio recordings, or a combination of them, none of which exceeded the imagination of fans, and this is the first time that "TOY" has been recorded in its original form, in a studio. Of course, the previously completely unreleased "Hole In The Ground" is also included for the first time, and this album "TOY" is an album that has been talked about overseas as being the complete version and is already on the same level as Bowie's new album. During his tours from 1999 to 2000, Bowie actively took up his lesser known songs on stage in order to highlight them. As an extension of this, we are planning to plan an album "TOY" that includes not only new songs but also self-covers of his own songs from the 1960s. This was around 2000. However, the record company was not happy with the content, and the release was ultimately postponed and shelved. Some of the songs were included in the next album "HEATHEN" with different titles and arrangements, or were released partially as B-sides of singles, but they have never been released as a complete album, and even the exact track list is unknown. This work is exactly the complete version of that phantom work, and its quality and content have made fans all over the world ecstatic and a big topic. It is truly surprising that all the songs on the album have been revealed, that they are recorded with great sound quality, and above all, the content seems to relieve the frustration of Bowie fans who have not released a pure studio album since "Reality". The first song "Uncle Floyd" was later re-recorded and renamed "Slip Away", and included in "Heathen" along with "Afraid". "Baby Loves That Way" and "I Dig Everything" are self-covers of singles released in 1965 and 1966, "Conversation Piece" was written in 1970, and "Let Me Sleep Beside You" and "In The Heart Of The Morning" were also unreleased songs that could only be heard at the BBC Live. The album's title track "Toy" was also released under the title "Your Turn To Drive", "Shadow Man" was an unreleased song from 1971, and the highlight "Hole In The Ground" is a completely unreleased song that is making its debut. "You've Got A Habit Of Leaving" and "Liza Jane" are singles from the Davy Jones era in 1965. The last two tracks, "Liza Jane" and "The London Boys", are said to have been stock B-sides of singles rather than on the album, and it is still unclear what the final album was intended to be, but if we consider these two tracks as bonus tracks, one major concept emerges. In addition, as bonus tracks, two songs, "Everything Is You" and "Social Girl", are included on both sides of a precious acetate from 1967. This is not a self-cover, but is recorded from the acetate from 1967. Bowie's young and fresh singing voice sounds fresh. This work, which contains David Bowie's unreleased album "TOY" in its entirety, will surely be a special one for Bowie fans. Moreover, the content is very interesting, a self-cover of buried masterpieces from the 1960s to the early 1970s. In addition, the bonus tracks include two songs from the precious acetate from 1967. It is no exaggeration to say that this is Bowie's new album, which has been long awaited.
