Bowie's career spanned more than 50 years, and he left behind many masterpieces. However, behind the masterpieces are many unreleased songs and unreleased takes, and it is natural that avid fans would want to hear them all. This album is a collection of rare tracks that will quench such cravings. "You've Got A Habbit Of Leaving" was Bowie's third single, but the version recorded here is an unreleased version recorded at IBC Studios in 1965. "Even A Fool Learns To Love" is, as you can tell by the melody, a parody of Sinatra's "My Way." This is a song sung in French by Claude François (a French chanson singer and composer), with Bowie singing English lyrics. "The Supermen" is a song included in "The Man Who Sold The World," but a different version is included here. "Changes" is a demo version of a song that symbolizes Bowie's concept. Bowie heard Sinatra sing "My Way" and wanted his own version of "My Way." The result was "Life on Mars?". Although it is a very short recording, the take included on this album is a very early demo of the song from 1971. "Sitting Next to You" and "Madman" are a bit boring recordings. This is a rehearsal recording with Marc Bolan before his appearance on the TV show "MARC." "Heroes" and "Jam" are performances from the show. "Boys Keep Swinging" is a live performance from the TV show Kenny Everett Show in 1979. "Velvet Couch" and "Piano – La" are session recordings with John Cale recorded in 1979. "David Bowie Impersonates" was recorded in 1985, but features a variety of artists including Springsteen, Neil Young, Iggy Pop, and Lou Reed. "Wild Thing" is a song written for the 1986 film Labyrinth, and is a demo version that includes the rhythm track that was cut from the released version. "We Prick You" is an unreleased version from 1995's Outside. "Mother" is a cover of a John Lennon song recorded in 1998, originally recorded for a tribute album. "Without You I'm Nothing" is a live recording with Placebo in New York in 1999. "America" is a cover of a Simon & Garfunkel song. "Fashion" is a live recording from a French TV show in 2003, and is a duet with Damon Albarn. And finally, "She Can Do That" is a demo recording of a duet with Christine Young in 2005. 01.
