The American leg from the Serious Moonlight Tour in 1983, when David Bowie reached the pinnacle as a "pop star," and the first audience recording of the performance venue where Bowie would have been forced to put effort into it. I remember that the "Two Of Us" team, who have continued to discover the world, released a superb recording of the first day of Madison Square Garden, and the UXBRIDGE label released it as "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 1983 1ST NIGHT". I guess it's a new place. It has received great acclaim for its excellent performance and very good sound quality, which befits the first day at the historic venue, and now the "Two Of Us" team has released the second day of MSG. Of course, it is possible to discover unreleased audiences every time, but what makes the “Two Of Us” team outstanding is that the sound quality is also very wonderful. This time as well, the quality is amazing and will not disappoint the expectations of enthusiasts. Not only does it have a rich and warm sense of presence just like the first day, but the balance of the sound image is also very impressive. In terms of the excitement of the live performance, it was amazing, surpassing the first day, and the people around the taper were actually quite excited. However, he says that listening to this doesn't stress him out at all. After all, it was a tour that reached the pinnacle of her career as a pop star, and that was at Madison Square Garden. That's why the feeling of excitement being said "Kyaa kyaaa" is really funny, and yet the part where they hum the then new song "China Girl" together also realistically conveys the popularity of Bowie that was unique to 1983. Bowie was all inspired in the face of such excitement. Even on the first day of MSG, they performed with such enthusiasm, but by the second day, the tension had completely disappeared. If you compare it with "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 1983 1ST NIGHT", the tempo is clearly faster (or rather, it's running), and even on the Serious Moonlight tour, the atmosphere of the performance is so different just by changing one day. I don't think so. In addition, as on the first day, Bowie hardly emits MC, yet it is impressive that he plays speedily. If you think about it, in “Life On Mars” Bowie’s passionate singing that seems to overwhelm the excited audience stands out, and from “Station To Station” the band’s performance is also spectacular. After finishing "Space Oddity", Bowie finally takes a breather and speaks to the audience when he introduces the members, and although he does not mention the name, he tells him that it is "someone's birthday". It's hard to tell since the profiles of all the participating members aren't known, but at least it doesn't seem like Carlos Almer or Earl Slick. And instead of “Red Sails” that had been performed the day before, “I Can’t Explain” was sung at the end of the live show. Needless to say, it is a cover of The Who and is included in the album "PINUPS". However, more than that, the reaction here was enthusiastic because it was a song that was also performed on the TV special “THE 1980 FLOOR SHOW” where Americans were first made aware of Bowie’s existence. It was the perfect song selection for this day. The second day of MSG was filled with great enthusiasm. This time as well, not only is the sound quality amazing, but the difference in atmosphere from the previous day is an amazing performance!
