The legendary complete soundboard album that surpasses even the official work has been upgraded. What is engraved in this work is “June 27, 2000 London Performance”. This is a stereo soundboard recording of a special performance held for the program at BBC Radio Theater. This show is also known as one act of the “MINI Tour”. As the name suggests, it is a special period that is different from regular concert tours, and we have introduced records of it at our store. First of all, let’s imagine the show position from the overview of “MINI Tour”.・June 16th “ROSELAND BALLROOM 2000 1ST NIGHT”《June 17th: New York performance (cancelled)》 ・June 19th: New York performance (transfer) ・June 25th “GLASTONSTONBURY FESTIVAL 2000” ・June 27th :BBC RADIO THEATER ←★This work★ Total of 4 performances. The main focus was on the Glastonbury Festival, where they performed for the first time in 30 years, and before that they had two warm-up shows in New York, and one live TV appearance after the festival. This work is a concert that is “one time after the festival”. [Ultimate edition re-digitized from Omoto Auction Master] As mentioned above, this show is premised on being broadcast, so the approximately 1 hour long TV broadcast pro shot is familiar, and there is also a compilation CD “BOWIE AT THE An official release was also realized as ``BEEB (3-disc set version)''. It has been loved as a representative record of the “MINI Tour”. Such conventional products were only incomplete versions of the show, but the situation changed completely after Bowie's death. Suddenly, a complete soundboard master was put up for auction on the internet, and it instantly set the standard. The complete version ``THE LONDON BOY: BBC 2000'' became very popular, and this work is also the same complete soundboard master. However, it is a further upgraded version. The key is "re-digitization." At our store, we have introduced many of the highest quality soundboards under the supervision of world-renowned Bowie researchers, but this work was retransferred from the complete master actual product that was auctioned by the researcher himself. . In fact, the process itself was the same for ``THE LONDON BOY,'' but this time the precision was significantly improved. In fact, the sound is extremely natural. In "THE LONDON BOY", the edges were sharply finished and the peak was just on the verge of a limiter, as if conscious of the official "BOWIE AT THE BEEB", but in this work, such a trick is not felt. Of course, it would be meaningless if the sound was shabby, but it's great because it increases the detail. It's clear from the beginning of the first song. In "THE LONDON BOY", "Wild Is The Wind" has an unstable feeling of falling high, especially in the long tone of the chorus "Yooooou touch me♪". However, with this master, there is no such instability, and it flows smoothly and stably. Even bigger factors are pitch (pitch) and tempo (speed). In analog recording, the two elements are inseparable, but with digital, the two elements can now be adjusted individually. I don't know if it was because of this, but although the pitch was good in "THE LONDON BOY", the tempo was slower than the original stage. On that point, this time, researchers have determined the actual performance from all the records of the day, and reproduced the pitch and tempo exactly as they were in history (therefore, the length is shorter than ``THE LONDON BOY'', but the content is ). [A volume of songs that overwhelms the official version and a legendary performance] Then, what was revived in its ultimate form was a full show with a set and content that was extremely special. First of all, let's organize how complete the complete version is by comparing it with the official version "BOWIE AT THE BEEB". 60's/70's Classics (13 songs) 70's album songs: Wild Is The Wind/Always Crashing In The Same Car/The Man Who Sold The World/Fame/Stay/Cracked Actor/Ziggy Stardust (★)/The Jean Genie (★) / Starman (★) / "Heroes" (★)・Other: The London Boys (★) / I Dig Everything (★) / All The Young Dudes (★) 80's/90's (9 songs) 80's album songs: Ashes To Ashes/Let's Dance・90's album songs: Seven/Survive/Little Wonder/Hallo Spaceboy/I'm Afraid Of Americans・Others: This Is Not America/Absolute Beginners *Note: Marked with "★" is a song that cannot be heard on the official version "BOWIE AT THE BEEB". ...and it looks like this. In "BOWIE AT THE BEEB", you can feel whether they wanted to feature the "latest Bowie" or whether they were boldly cut centering on delicious classics. Another possible reason for the cut is his poor performance on that day. In fact, this show is also known as the worst condition in Bowie history. You can tell from the beginning of the show that things aren't going well, but it gets worse in the second half. They had to restart "Ziggy Stardust" because they couldn't hear it, but they still managed to sing it, but the following "All The Young Dudes" was also interrupted. While Bowie takes a break, the band plays “The Jean Genie” as an instrumental. After that, Bowie returns to the stage and redoes “All The Young Dudes”, completing the show with full body injuries. Perhaps these songs were too strict, and were cut from both TV broadcasts and ``BOWIE AT THE BEEB''. Speaking of the second half of the show, it is the part where Chris Rix gets excited, so by cutting this part, the official version may have focused on the latest songs. This is the highest updated version of the complete soundboard master, which far exceeds the official one. This upgrade is not of the so-called bootleg standard. Pursuit of transfer precision to maximize master freshness, which was originally the ultimate. This is similar to how to convert the master sound of an official masterpiece into a CD. In other words, it should be talked about from the same perspective as ``Mobile Fidelity'' or ``Nimbus Supercut.'' The ultimate quality two-disc set that has been pursued and polished to such a level is the super finest stereo soundboard recording of the "BBC Radio Theater June 27, 2000" performance. Although it has been officially released as "BOWIE AT THE BEEB", this work is a complete version that far exceeds the official version. A world-renowned Bowie researcher directly digitizes the original master, and the freshness and transfer accuracy of the master are the ultimate. The high-drop feeling and instability of the previous version have been wiped out, and an extremely natural master sound has been achieved. This is a masterpiece that should be talked about in the same light as official masterpieces such as the Mobile Fidelity edition and the Nimbus Supercut edition.
