The ``HEATHEN'' era announced the ``Bowie revival'' with a full-fledged tour after a long absence. The FM soundboard album that appeared during that time is now available. This work is engraved with two BBC broadcasts. This is a stereo soundboard recording that mainly includes “LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE” recorded on “September 18, 2002” and a bonus “FRIDAY NIGHT with ROSS and BOWIE” recorded on “June 27, 2002.” The two programs were held in the middle of the “HEATHEN Tour”. First of all, let's organize the positions while comparing them with the schedule. [“HEATHEN” released on June 11th]・June 11th + 15th: Warm-up (2 performances in NY)・June 27th: “FRIDAY NIGHT WITH ROSS” appearance ←★Last 4 songs★・June 29th: MELTDOWN FESTIVAL appearance ・July 1st to 18th: Europe #1 (9 performances) ・July 28th to August 16th: North America #1 (12 performances) ・September 18th: “LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE” appearance ←★ First half 10 songs★・September 22nd - October 2nd: Europe #2 (6 performances) ・October 11th - 23rd: North America #2 (7 performances) This is David Bowie in 2002. Both of the two programs of this work were recorded in London, but the main “LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE” was recorded 4 days before returning from the United States and heading to “Europe #2”. On the other hand, the bonus “FRIDAY NIGHT WITH ROSS” was recorded two days before “MELTDOWN FESTIVAL”, which was a very early warm-up period and became a hot topic with the live performance of “LOW” and “HEATHEN”. Both programs are known for their high quality sound, and even during the "HEATHEN" era, they reigned as one of the most famous soundboards. It has also been loved as a bonus title and press 4-disc set ``THE FINAL NIGHT AT HAMMERSMITH 2002 (part of)'' at our store. This work is a remastered reissue of such a classic sound board. . . . Well, no. At our store, we have permanently preserved the best masters of standard soundboards under the supervision of world-renowned Bowie researchers, and this work is the latest. In fact, this master will be released for the first time. The broadcast itself is the same as before, and it is still an air check master, but it is a secret master that has been traded only among fellow researchers until now. In fact, its quality is the highest ever. Conventional masters can be called "completely official grade" by the usual standards, but this time's master is different in accuracy. High-end equipment at the time of the broadcast was used, and the CD was created directly from the FM tuner. It has been digitized without using cassettes or DAT, and there has been no deterioration since it was broadcast in 2002. Moreover, careful attention has been paid to the reception conditions and wiring, resulting in both noiseless beauty and unwavering stability. Even compared to the masters that have been considered the ``best'' up until now, the luster is completely different, the density that you can feel is sharp, but the edges are beautiful, and the deep bass vibe of the bass is overwhelmingly delicate. To put it simply, "Official grade" may be a bit vague, but the horizon on which this work stands is "Official masterpiece grade." It is also a dimension that makes you feel the “master tape sound” like the Mobile Fidelity edition and the Nimbus Supercut edition. The unconventional sound of Air Check is a live performance from the "HEATHEN" era, which includes some valuable numbers. A total of 14 songs are being broadcast in the two programs, but only "Everyone Says 'Hi'" is overlapping. You can enjoy a truly diverse repertoire. Let's do a little tidying up here. Heathen (6 songs, 7 takes)・Sunday/Cactus/5:15 The Angels Have Gone/Everyone Says 'Hi' [2 takes]/Heathen (The Rays)/Slip Away Others (7 songs)・70's: The Bewlay Brothers (★) / Ziggy Stardust / Rebel Rebel (★) / Look Back In Anger (★) ・After the 80s: Fashion / Alabama Song (★) / Survive (★) *Note: "★" marks are masterpiece soundboards. A song that you can't listen to in any of OLYMPIA 2002, MONTREUX 2002, or TORONTO 2002. ...and it looks like this. The new songs from ``HEATHEN'' are valuable, but the classics are the most delicious. At our store, we have permanently preserved the masterpiece soundboards of "HEATHEN Tour" such as "OLYMPIA 2002 (Wardour-227)", "MONTREUX 2002 (Wardour-193)", and "TORONTO 2002 (Wardour-264)", but we cannot listen to them there either. Lots of songs. Particularly treasured are "Alabama Song" and "The Bewlay Brothers." “Alabama Song” is an unexpected comeback that was realized for the first time in 12 years, and “The Bewlay Brothers” is being performed live for the first time 31 years after its release. Both songs have captivated fans since then and made this broadcast a legend. This is a live album that you can enjoy anytime and forever with "official masterpiece" quality...that's what this work is. Great sound though. Even if it is the same broadcast, it is so different when recorded by a particular researcher...This is an ultra-excellent stereo sound board album that will even make you feel awe. A piece that permanently preserves a familiar live performance with unprecedented quality. A stereo soundboard recording that combines two BBC programs "September 18, 2002 LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE" + "June 27 FRIDAY NIGHT with ROSS and BOWIE". Both programs are known as classics, but this work is the first master to update the highest quality. This is a secret master that was traded only among Bowie researchers, using high-end equipment at the time of broadcasting, and was converted to CD directly from an FM tuner. The quality is as good as a historical masterpiece even if it is an official work. You can also enjoy "The Bewlay Brothers", which was played live for the first time, and the extremely rare "Alabama Song" with super-excellent sound.
