The legendary recording of the "ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR" has been upgraded tremendously. The famous recording is "London performance on August 20, 1972". It is a Rainbow Theater performance that is also recorded as a pantomime co-star of the Lindsay Kemp Theatre Company. This show has long been known as a show that symbolizes the first half of the "ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR" with film footage and audience recordings. This work is a famous audience recording in history, but it is a new master that was excavated in recent years. The upgrade is tremendous. It was obvious that it was a famous recording that clearly captured Bowie's singing voice with a glossy sound, but that's not the point. It's completely different. The most intense thing is the transparency. The muffled air is clear and clear, shining crystal clear. The intense clarity of the sound, which is so intense that you can't feel the venue acoustics even if you listen carefully with headphones, is at a level that is no different from a soundboard recording. In fact, Mick Ronson's guitar is precise even to the sharpness of the cutting, and every beat of the drum is on and there is no blurring. Bowie's singing voice shines with youthful singing and extends beautifully to the end. You can hear Bowie's breath on the microphone at the end of the phrase clearly. Although the audience's evidence is engraved in the real applause, it is a sound world far from the word "70's customer record". It is a strange super high quality sound that is comparable even to the super masterpiece "BOSTON 1972" that was called "the ultimate board in Bowie's history". It is a sound that is hard to believe is from the 70's, but the show is undoubtedly the world of the treasure of the 70's "ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR". This tour continued until 1973, but the members of the first half of 1972 were different in detail. First, let's check the position by date. [1972] ・January 29th - March 24th: UK #1 (18 performances) ・April 20th - May 27th: UK #2 (15 performances) ・June 2nd - July 15th: UK #3 (18 performances) ・August 19th - September 7th: UK #4 (12 performances) ←★Here★ ・September 22nd - December 2nd: North America (26 performances) ・December 23rd - 29th: UK #5 (4 performances) The above is only the 1972 part of the “ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR”. In 1973, the group became large, but in 1972, the simple composition of "basic four people + keyboard" was used, with four people without keyboards in "UK #1", the first Matthew Fisher in "UK #2", Robin Lumley in "UK #3", Nicky Graham in "UK #4", and Mike Garson from "North America" to the end of the 1973 tour. The London performance of this work is the second performance of "UK #4", with Nicky Graham in charge of the keyboard. The member composition is also unusual, but the show itself is even more unusual. The show starts with "Ode To Joy" as usual, not "Hang On To Yourself"... but rather "Lady Stardust". It is not clear whether it was a production for a pantomime collaboration, but it is very rare to start with a gentle ballad, and it has only been confirmed in the two performances of "UK #4" at the Rainbow Theater. After that, the show progresses in a typical "ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR" style, but towards the end, "The Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud" from the second album appears. This song was often performed in the 1973 edition, but it was not heard in the 1972 edition's masterpieces "LIVE SANTA MONICA '72" or "BOSTON 1972". And what makes you go "Oh?" is actually "Starman". Perhaps in reference to the Rainbow Theater at the venue, they sing "Starman over the rainbow♪". This is not just a momentary change of lyrics, but an arrangement that breaks the song. The melody is originally similar to "Over the Rainbow", so this is very cool. Along with the opening "Lady Stardust", this is a famous scene that is also a symbol of this Rainbow Theater performance. This work closes with "Waiting For The Man", which is typical of the early part of the tour, rather than the familiar "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide". This is a live album with amazing upgrade quality that penetrates such a fresh set. It is an amazing one that allows you to enjoy the legendary performance with a superb sound that is suddenly on par with the historical masterpiece "BOSTON 1972". In the future, it will be a rock masterpiece that will be forever talked about as one of the pinnacles of "ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR".
