Bowie's 11th original album, HEROES, was released in 1977. This work is commonly considered to be a trilogy, along with ``Low'' and ``The Tenant,'' in which he collaborated with Brian Eno, but the structure is rather similar to the previous work ``Law.'' One of its characteristics is that approximately half of the songs are instrumental. However, while ``Low'' had an all-instrumental B-side, perhaps they thought it went too far, and ``Eiyu Yumukatari'' ends with the song ``Mystery of Arabia'' to balance out the whole thing. It seems like there is. The title song "Heroes" is of course Bowie's signature song, and is probably one of the most famous Bowie numbers, always occupying an important position at concerts. Recording took place in Berlin in May 1977. Since it was released less than a year after the previous album ``Low'', one would think that it was recorded around the same time, but in reality it spanned about half a year. However, considering the current speed, it is safe to say that half a year is about the same time. As mentioned above, it is said to be a trilogy including ``The Tenant,'' but considering the color, composition, and tendency of the albums, it would be more appropriate to describe the two albums ``Low'' and ``Eiyu Yumegatari'' as twin albums. Come. This work is a recording of the session sound source of "Eiyu Yumukatari". The composition of this work is divided into four types. Of note are the outtakes from "Heroes." This is another vocal that Bowie sings in a relatively relaxed manner, and this is also a wonderful singing performance. However, it lacks the tension of the original version, and you can tell that this is a temporary take. For other details, please refer to the back jacket. This work contains the session sound source of Bowie's famous album "Eiyu Yumekatari". There is no doubt that it is a valuable session sound source for this masterpiece.
