Bubbly tour “THE HOURS... TOUR”. A fantastic official video that captures the stage with multi-camera professional shots will be released. This work includes the “Paris performance on October 14, 1999”. Speaking of “THE HOURS... TOUR”, there were only 9 performances, but there are plenty of sound boards and professional shots for that short time. We have introduced many titles in our store. Now is a good time to organize that collection by date. ★August 23rd: New York official “VH1 STORYTELLERS”《“hours…” released on September 21st》★October 9th: London performance “NETAID 1999” October 10th: Dublin performance ★October 14th: Paris Performances [This work] October 17: Vienna performance November 19: New York “KIT KAT KLUB 1999” December 2: London performance “ASTORIA 1999” “LONDON HOURS” December 4: Milan performance・December 7th: Copenhagen performance *Note: TV and radio appearances are omitted. The "★" mark is a professional shot. This is the overall picture of “THE HOURS... TOUR” which was too short to be called a tour. The professional record is biased towards two performances in New York and two performances in London, but this work is a Paris show that is different from either of them. Apparently there was a release plan for that, and an official professional shot was taken. In fact, the soundboard live performance of three songs was included in the single "Survive", and the video version of "Survive" was also included in the DVD "BEST OF BOWIE". This work is a leaked master of such shelved professional shots. It is a long version of 15 songs and approximately 82 minutes. Its quality is excellent. Although it's hard to call it "official grade" because of the somewhat dark screen and the over-peaked audio in some places, the filming is perfect official work. If the camera work and mix are perfect, the result will be highly complete, with elaborate video processing and a credit to Virgin Records. "ASTORIA 1999" was also a semi-official video with a working time code, but this work is probably better in terms of its elegance. The show depicted with such visual beauty is also wonderful. Not only can you see "Something In The Air," "Changes," "Repetition," and "The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell," which are not on the official "VH1 STORYTELLERS," but even in the duplicated songs, the guitar is played by Reeves. Gabriels has been replaced by Paige Hamilton of HELMET, and you can enjoy plenty of the ensemble unique to the main tour. Also, TIN MACHINE's "I Can't Read" is delicious compared to "ASTORIA 1999", which was also released after Hamilton was replaced. What's even better than that is Bowie's singing voice, which runs through the whole story. In “ASTORIA 1999”, Bowie, who had a cold, was somewhat painful, but this work did very well. He sings a full show with all his original brilliance. Furthermore, unlike the professional shot of the TV appearance, the atmosphere of the concert in front of the audience is good. You can listen to MCs speaking fluent French, but what's a little more interesting is the member introductions. Especially after "Thursday's Child," he calls Em Griner and Holly Palmer, who are the chorus members, to the center of the stage, but he forces Em to do strange things, and when Holly is trying her best to say hello in French, she says, ``I'm done.'' I push him away as if to say, “Okay.” You can even see scenes that look like comedy in professional shots!!!This is a multi-camera professional shot that represents 1999, along with the official "VH1 STORYTELLERS" and "ASTORIA 1999." Unfortunately, it was shelved as an official release, but it is a record that is full of the enthusiasm of the main part of the tour and the singing voice that was at its best before catching a cold.
