This work includes “June 2, 2004 Uncasville Performance”. This is the multi-camera editing audience shot. This is the third to last performance of “North America #2”. In terms of the entire tour, this is the 10th show from the end. Three weeks later, right after the German performance, Bowie underwent emergency surgery and never toured again. After that, I sang a few songs at festivals and occasionally attended live performances by musician friends, but I no longer used the stage as a campus to create my own worldview. In other words, it is the “10th full show from the end” in Bowie’s life. This film, which captures Bowie just before the end of the performance, is a multi-camera film that will warm your heart. This is a careful mix of two cameras created by an enthusiastic fan from overseas. What's hot about it is the editing. The result is an overflowing feeling that cannot be summed up simply by saying, "I captured the highlights." First, let's talk about the angles used. This is a shot looking down from the 2nd floor seats in front of the stage. There is a difference between being directly in front and slightly to the right, but it's not that extreme, and the angle doesn't cast any shadows from the front row. It is a superb perspective where only the stage and Bowie's appearance fills the screen. Normally, multi-cameras combine completely different fields of view, but this work is beautiful precisely because of the similar angles. The key point is the zoom of the two cameras. Both have an excellent sense of stability, but the timing of zooming and points of interest are different. One seems to be close to Bowie's expression, while the other is pulled back to reflect the sense of scale and fantasy of the light show. Also, while the guitar solo is close to Earl Slick, the other one follows Bowie as he approaches the audience. And what's important is the mix. We carefully examine the highlights and beauty of each camera, and carefully and carefully switch between them. It is clear that the timing is carefully thought out, down to every measure and every word of the lyrics, and the way the transitions are done, from screen splitting to fade processing and slides, is in line with the mood of the song. To be honest, the quality is good enough that you can see it from each angle, but it's amazing how much time and effort was put into creating it in its ultimate form. I wanted to identify two cars that were close but different, and I wanted to bring out the charm of this day to the fullest, even down to the timing of a few tenths of a second...The quality is such that you can feel the heart of the maniac who created it. Moreover, the show is also wonderful. Although the performance and singing voice are very similar since it is only 3 days after the 2CD, the set is slightly different here as well. They will also perform rare songs that were featured in the main story and "Fantastic Voyage" that was heard on the official work "A REALITY TOUR", but the surprisingly delicious songs are "The Supermen" and "Let's Dance". Of course, neither should be rare or anything, but they were not played at the last Japan performance and could not be heard on the 2CD. Since this is the last tour of their lives, it would be nice to see at least one song in the final arrangement. You can enjoy it along with the wonderful scenery. Bowie shown in this work sings powerfully. There was a show in the last "Europe #2" where it was clear that he was not feeling well, but here he did not show the slightest hint of that, talking to the audience, singing, and showing a refreshing smile. Three weeks later, he will perform a number of famous songs in a lively manner that makes it hard to believe that he will fall ill. A masterpiece that carefully records Bowie's appearance. Not only does it give you a sense of the "other side" of the main press 2CD, but this work itself is a masterpiece that touches your heart.
