The century's greatest hits tour "SOUND + VISION". A special soundboard album that lets you experience the final version of the tour is now available. This work includes the performance in Santiago on September 27, 1990. This is a live album representing Bowie's first South American tour, which was realized at the end of the "SOUND + VISION TOUR 1990". "SOUND + VISION" was held to seal the hit songs as TIN MACHINE was fully launched. A super luxurious set that played all the hit songs and representative songs in one go, and excited countries around the world with a total of 108 performances for 7 months. Although it was a truly ultimate tour, unfortunately it did not become an official live album. However, several superb sound boards were left instead. Our shop has delivered "TOKYO DOME 1990" and "MILTON KEYNES BOWL 1990 2ND NIGHT" and released "MONTREAL 1990" at the same time. You can now see the world tour with a superb sound board. First of all, let's check the position of each album in the overall picture of the tour.・March 4-15: North America #1 (7 performances) → "MONTREAL 1990" ・March 19-April 22: Europe #1 (22 performances) ・April 27-May 9: North America #2 (7 performances) ・May 15 + 16: Japan (2 performances) → "COMPLETE VISION IN DOME" ・May 20-July 29: North America #3 (40 performances) ・August 4-September 16: Europe #2 (24 performances) → "MILTON KEYNES BOWL 1990 2ND NIGHT" ・September 20-29: South America (6 performances) → [This work] A total of 108 performances. "MONTREAL 1990" is the very beginning of the tour, "COMPLETE VISION IN DOME" is the middle stage, "MILTON KEYNES BOWL 1990 2ND "Rock in Rio 1990" is known for its long length, but the last "Gloria" ends with a fade-out, and this is the only work that allows you to enjoy the full show. Of course, this work is not just long. The quality is also really great. Although it is a bit dry as an official regular work, it is completely different from the sound you would imagine with the so-called "South American quality". It is a superb product that can be released more than enough with the deluxe edition that is popular these days. That said, it does not mean that there is no South American feel to it. That is, the mix. There are many mixes in Europe and the United States that seem to be the official version, but this work is (in a good way) raw. The guitar, keyboard, and rhythm section are all combined with the core of the music directly connected to the desk, and the frenzy of South America, which is very realistic, is attached to it. In particular, Bowie's vocals are so vivid that it feels as if the microphone cord was directly inserted into his ears, and even the sound of his breathing feels super realistic. The sound depicts the super greatest hits that were inspired by his first South American tour. Although it is largely in line with other South American shows, the volume of the full show is overwhelming. Even "Fashion", "Panic In Detroit", and "White Light, White Heat", which cannot be heard even in the masterpiece "ROCK IN RIO 1990", are performed. When it comes to music, bigger is not always better, but when it comes to a greatest hits show, the more masterpieces there are, the more luxurious and comprehensive it becomes. And this work is the decisive board with the most songs among the many South American soundboards. And the performance is also wonderful. This day was the penultimate show of the long world tour, so the ensemble was ripe, and Adrian Belew's virtuosity was also in perfect form. And above all, the spirit of facing South America for the first time is wonderful. Normally, the final stage of the world tour would be a tired mode, but there is plenty of momentum that exceeds that. The luxury entertainment tour of the century "SOUND + VISION TOUR 1990". This is a masterpiece that conveys the final stage with a full sound board. This work alone is a wonderful live album, but if you combine it with "MONTREAL 1990", "COMPLETE VISION IN DOME" and "MILTON KEYNES BOWL 1990 2ND NIGHT", you can enjoy the "SOUND + VISION" that the whole world was crazy about in total.
