The news of David Bowie's death on January 10, 2016 at the age of 69 came as shocking news not only to music fans around the world, but also to all aspects of the world, including the arts. From the North American leg of Bowie's record-setting "Serious Moonlight Tour," which peaked in the 1980s, disc:1 includes the Edmonton, Canada performance on August 7th, and disc:2 includes Both Washington and Tacoma performances on August 11th lasted 112 minutes, and although they were one-camera, they were almost completely recorded with audience shots that had stable angles etc. at the time. In addition, they were at the peak of their popularity in Japan, with the huge hit of "LET'S DANCE" and the movie "Merry Christmas on the Battlefield," and three months later they embarked on a large-scale Japan tour with 10 performances in 12 days at large venues. Since this was a time when it had developed into a social phenomenon, all live performances from this time are must-sees.
