"SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT" is the masterpiece of Oceania Leg, the highly popular "A REALITY TOUR". Introducing a big set that is a sequel to that super masterpiece and complements your collection even more deeply. What is included in this work is the best audience recording set of 3 performances “February 17, 2004 Brisbane”, “February 20 Sydney” and “February 23 Adelaide”. Of course, all three performances are different from the masterpiece "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT". In order to sort out the circumstances around that, let's zoom in on the Oceania/Asia tour at the time. Oceania Leg・February 14th: Wellington Performance・February 17th: Brisbane Performance ←★Disc 1-2★・February 20th: Sydney Performance ←★Disc 3-4★・February 21st "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT"・February 23rd: Adelaide performance ←★Disc 5-6★・February 26th: Melbourne performance・February 27th: Melbourne performance・March 1st: Perth performance Asia leg・March 4: Singapore performance ・March 8-11: Japan (3 performances) ・March 14: Hong Kong performance This is Bowie's last Oceania/Asia leg. For us, the Japan performance is the most memorable, but the Oceania tour was just before that. The masterpiece “SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT” was the 4th performance, but the 3 performances of this work are a set of “2nd performance, 3rd performance, 5th performance” around that. The sound that depicts these three performances is worthy of being called a “sequel to a masterpiece.” As a matter of fact, the Sydney performance of this work DISC 3-4 was not the first appearance, but was also introduced as "SYDNEY 2004 1ST NIGHT". If you experienced that bonus, I think you realized that ``It's a little short of the second Sydney performance at the top, but it's more than enough,'' but this work has been maintained at that level for three performances. “SYDNEY 2004 1ST NIGHT” also had a much higher sound quality than the online sound source, but the three performances of this work are all masterpieces provided by the same researcher collection. If you simply compare the thickness of the hall sound..."thin ← Sydney (DISC 2-3)/Brisbane (DISC 1-2)/Adelaide (DISC 5-6) → thick"...but it is not thick. The type that enhances the dynamism and spectacle of the concert singing without hiding details or creating a sense of distance. With such a sound, three performances are all different from “SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT”. In fact, "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT" was the longest/most set in terms of set length, but this work has a lot of repertoire that you can't listen to alone. Let's organize them based on the top work "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT". Songs that overlap with "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT" (23 songs) 60's - 70's: White Light/White Heat/The Man Who Sold The World/Life On Mars?/Quicksand (2 takes)/Five Years (2 takes) /Hang On To Yourself (2 takes)/Ziggy Stardust/Rebel Rebel/Fame/A New Career In A New Town/"Heroes"/All The Young Dudes・80s-90s: Ashes To Ashes/China Girl/Under Pressure /Hallo Spaceboy/I'm Afraid Of Americans・2000s: Cactus/Sunday/New Killer Star/The Loneliest Guy/Looking For Water/Days *Note: Unless otherwise specified, songs are recorded in 3 takes each. Daily songs that cannot be heard on “SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT” (9 songs)・Ziggy Stardust: Suffragette City (2 takes)・Low: Be My Wife/Always Crashing In The Same Car・Roger: Fantastic Voyage・Heathen: 5:15 The Angels Have Gone/I've Been Waiting For You/Heathen (The Rays)・Reality: Reality (3 takes)/Try Some Buy Some *Note: Unless otherwise specified, each song is recorded in one take. ...and it looks like this. The 23 songs that overlap with "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT" are the core of the set, and are common to the three performances of this work. What's delicious are the other daily songs, and you can enjoy 9 songs (12 takes). In particular, the four songs “Always Crashing In The Same Car,” “Fantastic Voyage,” “I’ve Been Waiting For You,” and “Try Some Buy Some” are delicious numbers that were not played even in the three performances in Japan immediately after. The Australian tour that was held just before the last visit to Japan is still memorable. It is a superb live set that allows you to enjoy the collection in three performances at once. The best audience recording set of "February 17, 2004 Brisbane performance/February 20 Sydney performance/February 23rd Adelaide performance". All three performances are full of the best masters provided by overseas Bowie researchers, and the Sydney performance in particular is a different recording from the master circulating on the internet, and the quality is far superior. The other two performances have a slightly thicker hall sound, but it is also the type that enhances the dynamism and spectacle of the concert chorus. This is a delicious 6-disc set that you can fully enjoy, including 9 daily songs that cannot be heard on Oceania Leg's masterpiece "SYDNEY 2004 2ND NIGHT ((Wardour-489))".
