In 1981, Dave Mason left the COLUMBIA label that built the Golden Age and was on tour with his late partner Jim Krueger. This work has been obtained in the best condition even though it is such a rare original release board. It is precisely digitized. The quality is so clear... it's too much. In fact, this video was made into a DVD in 2002, and a video that appears to be a DVD version has also been uploaded to a certain video site. However, most of those online distributions have soft edges and are blurred. I thought that the resolution was simply lower, but apparently that is not the case. In fact, the resolution of the video that came out of the original LD was too fine, and even the graininess of the film was poor. It was so vivid that it looked grainy. It's likely that the people on set didn't understand what kind of media laser discs were (of course), and had to fumble around with the lighting and camera settings. In this work, rather than sweeten the edges and give it a glossy finish, we have produced an exact DVD of the unprocessed high resolution (it's an amazing expression, but it's really true).
