In 1981, Dave Mason, who was on tour with his late partner Jim Krueger, recorded the performance in Pasadena, California on August 1st from the same year's US tour, using the soundboard sound source from the radio on-air master. First of all, the laser disc "LIVE AT PERKINS PALACE" containing the live footage from that time was released only in the United States at the time, but it quickly disappeared from the market, and it was released in 2002. Although it was once made into an official DVD, it was quickly discontinued, and while it still has a premium, here the live performance from that day is recorded from a different source, the FM on-air master, so it has been edited. The point is that there are more songs than videos. The acoustic live performance was basically a duo with Krüger, with the violin joining in at key points, and the set centered on numbers from ``ALONE TOGETHER,'' ``DAVE MASON,'' and ``LET IT FLOW.''
