Hall & Oates in 1981, who opened the door to their heyday with the consecutive hits of the two great masterpieces "VOICES" and "PRIVATE EYES". The superb soundboard album is now available. This work includes the "November 13, 1981 Passaic Performance". It is a superb stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of 1981, it was also a time when the "VOICES Tour" and the "PRIVATE EYES Tour" intersected. First, let's look back at the schedule at that time and check the position of the show. 1981 April 11th - May 11th: North America #1 (19 performances) June 13th + 14th: Appearance at Mountain Aire (PRIVATE EYES released September 1st) September 13th - November 23rd: North America #2 (35 performances) ←★Here★ 1982 January 28th + 30th: Sanremo Music Festival February 11th - April 25th: North America #3 (40 performances) ←※CHICAGO 1982 (H2O released October 4th) October 12th - 19th: UK (7 performances) October 25th - November 4th: Japan (9 performances) ←※TOKYO 1982 FINAL NIGHT November 13th - 24th: Australia (6 performances)This is Hall & Oates in 1981 and 1982. "North America #1" was the final stage of the "VOICES Tour", and "North America #2 / North America #3" was the "PRIVATE EYES Tour". The Passaic performance of this work was the 28th concert of "North America #2", about two and a half months after the album was released. This show is also famous for being broadcast on the CBS Radio Network's famous program "ON STAGE TONIGHT", and has become one of the classics representing the "PRIVATE EYES" era. This work is the highest peak update of such a classic sound board. After all, the source of this work is the original broadcast master of the original CBS network. It was transferred directly from a three-disc LP of the finest quality. It is the ultimate freshness master without any broadcasting radio waves. In fact, the sound of this work is "completely official class" that supports that. Some people may recall the FM broadcast of the NY Palladium when they think of the classic sound board of the "PRIVATE EYES Tour", but the sound of this work is in a completely different dimension. To be honest, it's not worth it. The mix was perfect at the time of recording only at the major CBS, and the finish specialized for home audio is a different dimension of beauty from the leaked sound board. Moreover, because it is a master recording, there are no dubbing marks, and there is not even a single needle crack, so it may be because it was digitized very precisely. It is the ultimate sound that will never be surpassed unless a digital rebroadcast is realized or the master tape before the master recording is leaked. Such an ultimate sound board depicts a treasure trove of famous songs that have been raised by live performances in their heyday. Speaking of "PRIVATE EYES Tour", there is also a genuine official excavation live album "GREATEST HITS LIVE", but that is an excerpt edited album compiled from various places on the tour. This work is 12 minutes longer and has more songs. Let's organize the set while comparing it here. 80's (8 songs) Modern Voice: How Does It Feel to Be Back/Diddy Doo Wop (I Hear the Voices)/You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'/Kiss On My List/You Make My Dreams Private Eyes: Mano a Mano/I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)/Private Eyes Classics and more (7 songs + α) 70's: She's Gone/Sara Smile (★)/Rich Girl (★)/Wait For Me Other cover medleys: Going To A Go-Go (★)/Rockin' Pneumonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu (★)/Funky Broadway (★)/Peter Gunn Theme (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that cannot be heard on the official excavation album "GREATEST HITS LIVE". ...And so on. As the title suggests, "GREATEST HITS LIVE" was edited mainly on hit songs from the 80s, but this work also includes more representative songs from the 70s. You can also enjoy delicious cover medleys. DJ comments and commercials from "ON STAGE TONIGHT" are also included, so the mood of the time is perfect. It is a semi-official work... no, it is a live album that exceeds even the official work "GREATEST HITS LIVE", and it is a masterpiece of a radio album where the scent of the heyday emanates from the speakers. It is an absolute work of cultural heritage class that boasts the same value as "VOICES" and "PRIVATE EYES". Super-excellent stereo soundboard recording of "Passaic performance on November 13, 1981". It is a masterpiece that was directly digitized from the broadcast master of the famous program "ON STAGE TONIGHT", and the freshness is the ultimate without any dubbing marks or radio waves. This is an absolute cultural heritage album that allows you to enjoy repertoires that you cannot hear on the official excavation album "GREATEST HITS LIVE", such as "Sara Smile", "Rich Girl" and cover medleys, with completely official sound.
