This is a soundboard sound source of a jazz project led by Danny Gatton, a genius guitarist who is little known to the world. Many cover songs are played, such as the jazz classic ``A Night in Tunisia,'' but the favorite among them is Horace Silver's soul jazz masterpiece ``Song for My Father.'' Danny's guitar, which breaks through the theme and explodes into a driving rhythm, is a groove reminiscent of Cornell Dupree. Even if you don't know much about Danny Gatton, please give this a listen as the sound quality is good. Recorded Live at Pickin' Parlor, Nashville, TN, July 07, 1978 DISC 1 (set 1) 1.
