CALIFORNIA TRANSIT AUTHORITY (CTA) was formed by Danny Seraphine to revive the sound and soul of early/mid-period CHICAGO. A super-excellent video featuring Bill Champlin is now available. This work was filmed at the "Portland performance on October 21, 2018." This is a multi-camera professional shot taken when he appeared at the charity event “CONCERT FOR CANCER”. This event was literally aimed at supporting cancer research and treatment programs. Danny has never had cancer, but Bill lost his beloved son to esophageal cancer and developed prostate cancer himself. In 2018, I had just made a comeback after battling illness for about a year. Of course, speaking of CTA in 2018, the performance in Japan in April is memorable for us, but this work takes place half a year after that. This work, which was completed in such a show, is truly the best. I feel like there are a lot of frontal angles for an official video work, but that's just a matter of switching. There are various angles that capture each member individually, and most importantly, the image quality / sound quality / mix is perfect. As a CTA live work, it is a quasi-official item that you want to keep alongside the original album. What is portrayed with such ironclad quality is an evening of CHICAGO music that will revive the performance in Japan. Unfortunately, Donnie Dacus does not participate in this work, but in addition to Danny and Bill, Mark Bonilla and Travis Davis of KEITH EMERSON BAND, Ed Ross, and a cover of "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" The core of the band is Tony Grant, formerly of AZ YET, who is also known for recording a hit in the United States, and other members visiting Japan. There is no doubt that we can expect CHICAGO's famous songs based on the unit's concept, but the selection may be a little different than expected. Their debut work "FULL CIRCLE" was also a collection of CHICAGO covers, so let's compare and organize them. The trajectory of Chicago in the 60s/70s: Introduction (★) / Questions 67 & 68 / Beginnings / Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? / I'm a Man (★) ・Chicago and 23 Oaths: Make Me Smile (★) / In The Country / Color My World (★) / 25 Or 6 To 4 (★)・Chicago V: Dialogue (Part I & II)/Saturday In The Park・Harukanaru Amerika: Feelin' Stronger Everyday After the 80s ・Chicago 17: You're The Inspiration/Hard Habit To Break ・Chicago 19: Look Away/You're Not Alone ・Others: Turn Your Love Around/Full Circle *Note: "★" indicates the debut album " FULL CIRCLE” is the same song. ...and it looks like this. The heaping amount of CHICAGO repertoire is interspersed with the original "Full Circle" from the second album and "Turn Your Love Around", which Bill wrote for George Benson. However, the selection of CHICAGO songs is very different from "FULL CIRCLE", and only 5 of the 18 songs in this work are duplicates. Rather than calling it a "visual version of his debut work," it's "another selection of masterpieces." It is a super delicious show where you can enjoy updated versions of CHICAGO masterpieces that cannot be heard even in official works. It is a video work that is on par with the official work in terms of quality and content, and will revive the performance in Japan. A piece where you can fully enjoy the CTA, which is said to be "another CHICAGO", in super high quality. Multi-camera pro shot of “October 21, 2018 CONCERT FOR CANCER performance”. You can enjoy an evening of CHICAGO music with completely official quality professional shots. There are only five songs that overlap with the debut album "FULL CIRCLE", and the original "Full Circle" recorded on the second album and "Turn Your Love Around", which Bill wrote for George Benson, will also be performed. This is the most important work that is semi-official in terms of quality and content. Revolution Hall, Portland, OR, USA 21st October 2018 PRO-SHOT 1. Opening 2. Introduction 3. Make Me Smile 4.
