From the 1981 performance in Japan, the concert at Tokyo NHK Hall on January 18th was recorded from the stereo soundboard master that was aired on Tokyo FM at the time. This day's live performance was based on the sound source broadcast on this FM, and although it was later released as the official live "Ongakukai", it was actually heavily edited. Furthermore, the content is very different from the CD released in 1993 as a complete version, and this work includes "Way Back Home", which was not officially recorded, and Alphonso Johnson's bass solo. . It is a realistic reproduction of the performance of that day, and since Alphonso Johnson left the band immediately after this visit to Japan, it is a very rare live performance during the short period in which he was enrolled, so it is a must-see. A must-listen item. 1 Rainbow Seeker 2. Sweet Gentle Love 3. Bass Solo 4. Spiral 5. Melodies of Love 6. So Far Away 7. Way Back Home [Live at NHK Hall, Tokyo, Japan January 18th 1981] Joe Sample ?
